Another excellent RCA product!
I have had my old microwave oven for over 11 years and it finally decided to terminate our relationship...=) Although I used this appliance daily, I dreaded going out into holiday shopping traffic/crowds to find a replacement. A friend suggested Walmart.com and within 10 minutes, I had selected my new microwave oven at an excellent price. It was great looking and came with a very reasonable extended warranty. I am so pleased with this microwave and the convenience of on-line shopping via Walmart, I will tell everyone I know. The oven works great, very user-friendly, and looks wonderful next to my brand new ovens. They match perfectly. Kudos to RCA for their continuing efforts to strive for perfection.

Perfect for my needs and love that red!
I downsized a little and replaced a 13 yr old Panasonic(still works great). This new one programs very much like the old one .It has variable power option and defrost by weight which I use more than any other functions. Only gave 4 stars on Durability as I've only had it about a week so don't know how long it will last. Haven't tried 2 stage cooking yet. I do like the beverage key- tap it once for a 4-6oz. cup , then key in number of cups you are heating;or tap twice for cups up to 10-12oz and then key number of cups heating. There are a few function keys I have not seen before,like a key for Pizza, baked potato, cook by weight, and speed defrost. It's a lot of microwave for the price and that red is to die for,looks like Candy Apple Red. If it had wheels, I'd probably drive it!

    Good Size, Good Value & Looks Great
    This is a great microwave, for the price, and it looks so nice, on the counter. My Mom says the color looks like a sports car - it's candy apple red and the prettiest microwave I've ever seen! lol! I was having trouble with my old microwave, which I'd had for about 20 years (it had a good run). I had to replace it quickly, because the holidays were around the corner and I needed a microwave, to help with cooking/reheating. But, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. After researching various models, I chose this microwave. I like the size, which is 1.1 cu. ft. and it's got great functions, including a timer, which I needed, in my kitchen. It has quick cook buttons; cook by weight, defrost by weight, speed defrost, a clock and a reset button. It has one touch buttons for baked potato, popcorn, pizza, beverage, frozen dinner and reheat. It comes with a guide, which explains everything, in simple terms. The door has a pull handle, rather than a push button, to pop the door open. That's the only thing I don't like, on this microwave. The reason being, when I pull on the handle, to open the door, the microwave slides up the counter and I find it very annoying, as I am constantly pushing it back into place. (This is the reason for only 4 stars.) I need to get a rubber shelf liner, to put underneath, which should alleviate the sliding problem. The cleaning instructions say to wipe with a damp cloth and that is exactly right - as I tried to remove a bit of something, which was stuck on the front, with my fingernail, and scratched some of the pretty red color off the front, on the sixth day I had it. That made me really aggravated, but now I know better. Damp cloth ONLY. This microwave comes in a choice of colors - red, white or black. I chose red, because I have somehow managed to acquire small appliances, which are all red. I like the color, though, it's a pretty candy apple red type color and really shiny - very pretty, for a microwave! I also think the price is good - just under $80 seems like a very good buy, to me. All in all, I am very happy, with this purchase and would recommend this microwave, to others.

    This oven was purchased to replace our #2 oven which we had for many years and served us well, however it had no turntable and was a low power unit. We have limited counter space and this was the smallest oven in the 1000 watt range so decided to give it a try. So far this oven performs as well as our #1 oven which cost 3 times as much. This is a very basic oven and so logical to operate that we have never even opened the instruction booklet. The oven has a handle opening door which is perfect since my wife is left handed and I am right handed, most appliances are built for right handed folks. The only possible negative point is that if you don't put a grip sheet under the feet, the oven slides on the counter top when you open the door ... no problem with a grip sheet under it. All things considered this is a fantastic appliance and an unbeatable price. We are VERY pleased!!!!!

    This microwave met all expectations. Works exactly as stated. No problems. I Love rhe color. Get alot of compliments on it. Despite some other reviews, i am 100% satisfied. Wound recommend.

    According to the reviews I read, not everyone was happy ..... so I got the warranty for $12. This is the nicest small appliance I have purchased in years, the color is striking, the size is larger than I was expecting, the wattage is what I asked for, the shipping ? it was free and it came to me a week before Christmas ! when it was promised by the 31st ! and we must note that it came by ups! :) without harm of any kind. I know it will last for two years, because I have the warranty to replace it ! I cannot say enough of how happy I am ....... it has no cardboard, no dents, no peeling stickers, nothing but sparkling candy apple red! I almost want to get another one to be sure I will have that color for several years - it is beautiful! thanks!

    Manual could be better, I sent them fixes.
    First I wanted unit with Turntable. This said it came with clear table. I saw others that said itr had AUTOMATIC TABLE but sold for over $100.00. I like the looks and price of this. HOWEVER I GOT A SURPRISE AFTER SETUP. THIS HAS AUTOMATIC TURNTABLE and everthing works great. I HAD OLD GE THATY WAS STILL WORKING AFTER 32 YEARS. NO TURNTABLE. So I decided to get new one. I tell anybody wanting a MICROWAVE BUY THIS, DON'T SPEND ANY HIGHER. YOU'LL BE GLAD YO DID. BILL POLAND

    Nice microwave
    We nought this mocrowave on line because it was so much cheaper then in the store. A full size microwave for what they were selling a dorm size microwave in the store for. We plugged it in and it works great. I read the reviews and they were not great but for the price we took a shot. I am not sure what everyone else was looking for or expecting in a microwave but this one does everything I have asked it to do - it heats up food... No problems so far. Just in case we should have a problem I bought the 2 year extended warranty plan for $5. They will replace the microwave for 2 years - no questions asked. What more could you ask for in a microwave?!

    Excellent for the price
    Purchased this item when my larger one died. I was a little hesitant because of the size which was much smaller than my old one, but have found it to be quite adequate. I decided on this model for 3 reasons. The reputable brand. the good reviews and most important the door pulls open there is no button to push that will wear out. I have been using this appliance for about 2 months now and find it to be an exceptional value. It even reminds me when I forget I have heated something. The timer can be used at the same time you cook which was very nice to find. It heats quickly so quickly in fact I have found it takes much less time than my larger one did and have had to adjust the times on some things..it also cooks and heats more evenly. The control panel is flat. Easy to clean and is relatively quite. Over all I am very pleased with the purchase. I will purchase it again if it is still available when I need another new one. I highly recommend this oven. It is a great deal for the money. It also arrived 5 days ahead of schedule.

    ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!!
    IT CAME AT 9AM THIS MORNING. WHAT A GREAT WAY TO WAKE UP :) AFTER READING SOME OF THE OTHER REVIEWS ON HERE, I WAS SO AFRAID SOMETHING WAS GOING BE WRONG. NOTHING IS WRONG! THE PACKING WAS PERFECT. THE DELIVERY TIME WAS AWESOME. IT WORKS GREAT. THE COLOR IS GORGEOUS. I LOVE THE METALLIC RED :) I AM SO SO VERY HAPPY WITH IT. THANK YOU SO MUCH !
