Good light and tougher than expected
Bought these due to frequent power outages in our area. The lights are bright, but i didn't expect much in the way of reliability. The battery life is good, but here's the real surprise- I was using them in my basement while replacing my old fluorescent shop lights with new LEDs. I bumped my ladder

Defective Lanterns
Wasted 6 lithium batteries @ $1.62 ea. Two lanterns provided two hours of light. One stopped after 30 minutes but also drained the batteries. The second lantern lasted about three hours. Very disappointed and they will be returned to Walmart. The quality of the Lantern probably depends on the 'luck-of-the-draw' However, If I want to gamble, I'll go to Vegas.

    It is VERY BRIGHT, to the point i have to lower it quite alot. however if you leave it open for a day. it does dim down, rechargable batteries last alot longer so I've tested.

    Provides Strong Lighting With Just 3 AA Batteries
    I live in Florida, hurricane country, and purchased these as part of my hurricane preparedness project. They really light up a whole room, take only 3AA batteries, are lightweight, and have a handle to allow them to be easily moved from room to room as needed. Along with my camp stove, solar phone/laptop charger, and 2 USB-C power banks, I feel well prepared for a short term power outage.

    Broken lantern
    One of the lanterns was broken and dont have time to send it all back.will never order again. Bottom of lantern where batteries go does stay on.

    cracked base
    1 of them would not shut off and the base was cracked. I took it apart and fixed it. and super glued the cracked base. Shouldn't have to do that with a new item.

    Very bright
    When I first received these lanterns they looked small and I was disappointed as I didn't know just how seriously bright they really are. I love how they open and close and it protects them from damage. These lanters are very, very bright, light to carry and perfect for practically anything from camping, hiking, back up lights for storms the list could go on. I am really glad I purchased these which I originally purchased for camping with my husband and our children. You definitely are getting the right lights if your looking for something very bright and the battery life has been amazing. (Batteries not included)

    Very nice small lanterns
    These lanterns, although small, put out a great amount of light. One will light up our entire bedroom. One provides ample light to see what you need. Other reviews mentioned they did not shut off properly, but the two I received work as they should. Very pleased with the purchase.

    So bright!
    Okay these are awesome! I bought them for a camping trip and I highly recommend for the following reasons: 1. Comes in a 2 Pack 2. Is compact and folds down to travel size / able to store in tight/small areas easily 3. So bright! Like, seriously, this is like $100 dollar quality LED lanterns! 4. Long-lasting battery 5. I love that the handles fold up - I was able to easily hang this from the "ceiling" of my tent to light up the whole area. 6. It lights up when you fold the handles up and pull up. There is no "dimming" feature, but I suppose if you wanted less light, you can easily open the lantern halfway so you don't have as bright of a light.

    GOOD STURDY UNITS
    We purchased 4 @ of these (2 @ packages) for use as nightlights in our motorhome and camper trailer. They work fine and seem to last about 3-4 nights on a set of batteries (3 @ AA). This is preferable to leaving light on in the unit and draining the coach battery.
