I have used this product for years and it holds up outside. We have a wooded property and as I age, I add benches around in the woods along my walking paths to rest on when I need to. Simple to put together and with some additional bracing we have made some benches 8 feet long.

    Good solid sturdy chair and it's comfortable.
    Easy assembly and durable. I recommend you cut all the 2x4s which is 9 beforehand and it will assemble faster with a power drill. All the hardware you need is included. Wood is not cheap now so consider about a dollar per foot for 2x4s. If this chair will stay outdoors make sure you get wolmanized wood.

    Great price for a well designed and built patio bench. Just need to buy 2x4 lumber in the suitable length and in a half hour you have a bench. I used redwood for durability and appearance.

    Meets my needs.
    As you can see by the images I used three legs per bench. I extended the lower brackets a foot on each end in order to add a little in table. Over all the benches are 12 feet long. In my opinion they look great on my dock.

    nice and easy
    This kit makes it very easy to build yourself a nice outdoor bench. I used cedar 2x4's for the weather resistance and I much prefer the look over treated lumber. I made my bench just about 5' wide, and I wouldn't go much wider than that for stability. I bought 2x4x10 boards for cost savings and cut them in half. Make sure to leave yourself a little extra overhang for the screws to grab into. The molded in cup holders don't offer much use, but you can get a can of soda in there, just don't expect it not to fall. Overall a great little bench, maybe a touch expensive for the ends, but they should last a long time.

    Great product for the price!
    I made my bench 6 feet and am very happy with it. I used treated 2x4 lumber, placed the bench on our dock. I drilled a hole in each leg at the bottom to bolt to the dock. Works just great and the whole job was under $75.
