Love this coffee!
This is the first time I've tried the Decaf Columbian. But because I love the organic columbian, I was pretty sure I would enjoy it. I was right! The beans are luscious and oily when I opened the bag and the flavor is the top notch. Plus, getting the healthy Swiss Water Process makes me feel confident in the purchase!

Everything Delivers Except the Taste
Aroma of beans is there, aroma of brewed coffee is there, than you take a drink...no body, no real taste for 1-2 seconds, than a strong walnut tone and that's it. Kinda like a carousel at a county fair. I must say though, so far I have been very pleased with every other bean I have tried so far!

    stellar coffee
    I've been purchasing the SWP decaf coffee in several varieties for a couple of years now. The flavor is always deliciously multi-dimensional, but the main drawing point for me is the Swiss Water Process since I avoid food additives whenever possible. I appreciate the FedEx home delivery as I live in a rural area and USPS does not deliver to the door. It's great to find the coffee package on the doorstep instead of having to make a mile and a half drive to pick it up in the mail locker.

    Low Acidity
    This is our go to decaf. I can drink multiple cups a day and not feel bogged down or uncomfortable by high acidity levels. I also don't feel like it's one of those decaf coffees is still high in caffeine. We use a French press and the taste is great And the finish is smooth.

    No Aroma
    I buy this coffee for my wife because she cannot drink caffeine. Being from Australia, I get this coffee as it has been the best coffee for my wife and I like to give her the best cup of coffee I can to start off her morning. This coffee always has a rich, Columbian aroma, smelling better than the Columbia Supremo that I buy for myself. But this last purchase, something happened. It is flat. No odor. You're coffee is supposed to be fresh roasted and that's why we buy it. This last purchase was very disappointing.

    Terrific for Decaf
    This coffee is nearly as good as the fully caffeinated. You probably don't want to brew it in an espresso machine, but it's fragrant with a nice medium body and good acid balance. I could drink this most of the time if I had to live without caffeine.

    Decaf Colombian Coffee
    The Colombian Decaf Coffee has the flavor I really enjoy. I have tried the Peruvian Decaf and don't like it, but the Colombian is just right. I switched to decaf earlier this year and am happy to finally find a Colombian decaf that comes in a larger size than the grocery store provides and has a great flavor that is good any time of the day.

    Love It!
    This is my 6th r more reorder. After sampling a couple of the other decafs we settled on Columbian SWP and love it. We brew in a De Longhi Magnifica semi-auto, and a valve pour-over drip using max coffee, fresh ground just before brewing in a burr grinder - that's the secret to getting the max flavor and aroma out of any beans. I'm Italian, and have had lots of coffees in Europe and US, and even roasted my own, so trust me. Our orders get to the Denver area in no more than three days, and it's always fresh. I first ordered from the A website, and it took forever. So I called FRC to complain and was told they had no controll over the shipping, and to order direct. That was the ticket. It's always so fresh that by the time we finish a 5 lb bag it's still tasting great. I appreciate how many decaf varieties these folks roast - more than any roasters I've come across. Thanks!
