Nice opener.
I love that unit. Useful and easy installation. I'm using for a month already and have no issues. Perfect buy. Totally recommend.

Mediocre Product and Tech Support
I've had this motor for 6 months, bought it October 2017. It worked for 2 months then stopped working, it would go one way but not the other. Walmart also won't help me because it's been more than 30 days since I bought it. (Amazon intervenes to guarantee the customer gets a working product even when out of refund range). I even purchased the extra Asurion insurance from Walmart knowing that something like this could happen, but they can't do anything for 12 months until the manufacturer's warranty expires. I've been on the phone and email with the manufacturer for 4 months, they've sent me parts and troubleshot but I still don't have a working motor. Pushing and pulling the gate has been impractical so we don't even use the gate anymore. The manufacturer tries but not super professional and disorganized. The motor is not the best made either. I would recommend not getting Asurion, going with a more established gate opener company and getting a more robust product. Point is 6 months after buying a product from Walmart I still don't have a working gate.

Works great, installation was straight forward, directions could be more complete. We have a heavy gate and a sloping site, opener has no problem working it.

    poor quality product, hard installation
I was tired of having my wife and kids get down from car to open our 14 feet iron gate every time we entered/exited the property. The local installers quote to automate this was about 2000$ installed. This unit at sub-300 looked very tempting. The reviews even suggested that it could be self install. I bought this from wally but posting review everywhere as my experience may help someone else. Installation- 1. As someone else did, its better if you pour concrete foundation and sink the stand in few inches. This will help reduce the tall stance of the machine, thereby making it more stable and less ugly. 2. I hired an electrician to run power to the machine. Then a gate installer to install the machine and magnets. This steps requires welding. 3. As cheap as I was trying to get this project for, I spent 800$ on installation itself. But that has not impacted my rating. Its just to say that if your local installer quotes you a quality system for less than 2k installed, I would go for it instead. 4. Very hard to find working photo eye electric sensor for this. LM104 did not work for me, although it is supposed to. I am quite handy with electronics, but still it makes me sweat to try anything with this machine. Pros- It pulls my heavy 14 feet gate just fine. Basic need satisfied! Cons- 1. The website description states ""For your safety, this model will stop and reverse if is encounters an obstruction on closing and stop when it encounters an obstruction on opening". My AC1400 does the opposite. It will stop and reverse if is encounters an obstruction on opening and stop when it encounters an obstruction on closing." I have been trying to get this fixed. Technical support asked me to swap U-W and OP-CL. IT STILL DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. I will contact them one more time but its not fun. 2. Its cheaply made, the remote has 4 buttons but only 1 actually operates the gates. Remote is also flimsy. I probably received a defective unit but it is clear their quality control is bad and technical support exists but not expert. Given the investment you would need for installation, both in terms of time and money, I would buy something of better quality and support.

    So far so good!
This gate opener is great. Works well and was easy to install. There is a lot of stuff out there, but this is a quality piece of equipment. I did a lot of research before buying this opener and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. I especially like the ability to adjust the open and close.

    Great deal!
It is very easy to connect, you just unplug little plastic connector, take care of little screws and put electric wires inside those holes. After you done, just plug that green connector back to its place and you are good to connect the wire to your wall or other sours of electricity. Also, remotes are easy to setup so just follow the instruction and you should be good.

BE ADVISED: Worst operator on the market.
I purchased three of these operators and only one of them worked. The other two, the manufacturer refuses to take back. It's worth the money to buy the reputable brand name operator.
