Back up Computer - Pleasantly Surprised
I love this little machine. It was a little difficult for me to turn off S Mode because I hadn't done it before, but once I switched out of it I was able to use it as normal. My primary laptop is an MSI 16gb/500gb for gaming and pizzaz, but I got this for EXTREMELY light gaming (Sims4) and regular internet usage/streaming services. I wouldn't recommend trying to do a million things at once with this unit because it's meant for doing one thing at a time- but whatever you're doing it'll do it well. Graphics aren't as good as my MSI (duh, this isn't even $250) but definitely not something you would notice if you hadn't had an S Tier unit to begin with. I love it, I think it's phenomenal for the price. A great starter, or back up unit.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/09/2023Very happy so far!I haven't had a chance to use it much yet, but so far I love it! My last laptop was an HP and it performed terribly, but I never realized how heavy and bulky it was untily ASUS arrived! They're the same screen size, but this is so much thinner and light as a feather. The pink is also prettier in person. So far it's been functional, fast, and very user friendly. I don't know a lot about technology, but I'm very pleased with my purchase so far.Amy

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/09/2023Worth the priceI bought this laptop specifically to play the Sims 4. I did a lot of research before purchasing and ultimately decided that this laptop seemed to be the best option for the price. I am very satisfied with this Asus! It runs my game very well, with very little lag and little graphics issues. For it only costing $250, it runs the much better than I anticipated, so if you're looking for something that isnt very expensive but runs overally decent, this is the one. I wouks absolutely purchase this again.Krystal

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/16/2023Nice computer but use care during set upI was tricked into signing up for a Microsoft Office subscription during setup which I did not want. Take care when setting your computer up. You can purchase an older Office edition that will work fine with Windows 11 and you will own it with no never-ending auto renewal. That is my main gripe with this computer. Otherwise, it seems to be working fine. I like the display-it's larger than the one I had. So far so good.Rebecca

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/15/2023Do not recommend!I had heard good things about this laptop and decided to give it a try. Was left very disappointed with the performance. It can't handle work load at all. It will start to slow down when having two web pages open at the same time. And the camera quality is so low. Not worth buying expected more from ASUS.Jennifer

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/09/2022Almost a year later…I bought this laptop solely for work almost a year ago because I wanted to keep my MacBook separate for personal use. I bought it on a whim because it was just under $200 at the time, and I figured it'd get the job done. For my purposes, this laptop has worked perfectly and exceeded my expectations. In fact, I use it more than my MacBook now because the keyboard is much quieter. My only complaints are that the trackpad buttons are a bit cheap feeling and the camera is not ideal quality for video meetings, but for any laptop, I prefer to use a Bluetooth mouse and separate camera anyway. It's perfect for a student or someone whose job mainly requires web browsing and Microsoft/Google apps.anm

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/05/2022Problems from Day 1…Had problems from the first day with this laptop! Got it setup and it wouldn't let me register the laptop with ASUS, wouldn't recognize my password. So I thought “forget it, I just won't try to register it then”. I finally was able to do some online banking on it last night, check my emails and print off a recipe on my printer. Thought everything was going to work properly, until today. Now it won't even recognize my initial sign- in password, even after several restarts of the computer. So, it's all bagged up and will be taken back to Walmart tomorrow for a refund. I had this computer for 4 days.Linda
