Excellent Color and Resolution at a Great Price
Excellent monitor for the price. This is my third monitor that I have purchased. Once you have a 4K monitor, you can never go back to using 1080. The color and clarity are exceptional. I use this monitor primarily for viewing photos, watching videos, and office work. The 28" size was also a great upgrade from my previous 24" monitor - without being too big for the desk. While I do play video games, this monitor does sacrifice refresh rates for the high color clarity given its price point. This doesn't affect my use but may be a consideration.

    §uper crisp and clear!
    The images are much more colorful and clear than my second monitor. An old gtx 1080 ti will run it and most games but it will leave you wanting to upgrade. Works great for still pictures from a dslr or similar!

    TUF monitor in 4K, this is a no brainer.
    I love the TUF brand. Really solid, well built stuff. My only complaint is the 60hz refresh rate, but for the price, it's so completely worth it!

    Ultra Vivid Color
    The VG289Q1A is a great looking monitor with an absolutely gorgeous display featuring ultra vivid color. Mine is connected to my FX504-GE72 and my Raspberry Pi 4b in HDMI-2. This monitor hits that sweet spot where price and performance converge into an irresistible, must-have product that won't break the bank. I'm extremely happy and completely satisfied with this excellent offering from Asus.
