This train is a hit with kids ...Great Buy!!
This Adventure Force train has provided hours of fun for a 1 and 3 yr old grandkids. The price was so cheap for days of fun while visiting. I also plan to use around my Christmas tree. The only problem I saw was that the Engine broke off from the coal car but the kids enjoyed watching the engine car bumping the 3 cars remaining all the the track.

Need new wheel
Nice train especially the steam action. The wheels did not hold up. One of the coal carts wheels broke. I need a replace menu wheel. Is there any way to get replacement parts?

    Easy to assemble
    My boys slightly enjoyed the Adventure Force Railway Train Set. When they first received the train set they were really excited that it had a working "smoke" stack on it. The steam that the train produced was very faint and hard to see unless you get real close and turn your head in just the right direction. This feature was disappointing to them. The tracks were pretty easy to assemble and customize the layout. One of the secondary cars wheels fell off after one use but then again my boys are hard on toys. I was able to snap them back into the bottom and all was right with the train again.

    Adventure Force 31-Piece Remote Control Adventure Railway Train Set is a great train set for children. When it arrived my kids ages 3-8 immediately opened the box and took turns assembling the track. It took longer than I expected to get it working as the directions do not state where the on/off is on the first train car. Once you actually know where to look, it's easy to flip on and off. The train and controller take a mix of double and triple A batteries. It has provided hours of entertainment as they break it down and set it up to play. Overall, it's a cute little train set for the cost and would be a nice gift for a kiddo who might be hard to find a present for.

    Best train ever!!!
    I really liked it and my son was fascinated by it, it is very detailed and the features it has are excellent. It has several buttons to operate it. It goes backwards and forwards. Another button for the whistle, to draw steam, which I love because it gives it a touch of realism, another to turn on the light, to put it in mute mode and the last to stop it. It is very beautiful and I love it, I would definitely recommend it 100%.

    Fun Train for kids of all ages
    My boys were so excited to unbox this train set and get it set up! It was easy to put the tracks together and to understand the instructions that came with the train in regards to how to place the batteries in both the train engine and the remote control and the on/off switches on each. It also gave instructions on how to fill the train with water drops in order for the 'smoke' to appear. It wasn't clear in the instructions, but you must leave the rubber stopper OFF if you want the smoke to work. We kept trying and trying with it on, and on a fluke pushed the button when the stopper was removed and lo and behold it worked! So, that would be nice to have in the instructions/manual -- or if the smoke option didn't work for you, try taking that stopper out. We empty the train of any residual water after use and replace the stopper to be safe. The train remote allows you to move the train either in forward or reverse, make the train whistle blow, stop the train, or make the engine smoke. My boys had a lot of fun doing all sorts of things with the train in combination with their lego sets, army figures and other miscellaneous toys. The coal in the coal car moves up and down as the train moves, making it look like it's jiggling around. It's not fancy, but for a child's imagination it is perfect. There is enough track that we can put this around our Christmas tree this year - and the boys are already looking forward to that. Would be nice if there was an option to purchase extra track as needed, but I couldn't find that option anywhere. Overall, this is a great gift for a train fan - to get them started with model trains/remote control toys etc.

    Awesome little train set
    My kiddos (6f and 10m) have played with this train set every day since it arrived. It's easy to put together, my 6 year old can do it without any assistance. The controls are simple. The noises are super realistic. The steam/smoke is hit or miss whether the button works, but we assume that's due to some kind of cool down. It's really really awesome when it does work. The only negatives I have to mention are - the tracks are a little bit flimsy/cheap feeling and the tiniest knock to the train track when built will make the pieces come apart. But it's very easy to fix, so not a big deal. Also, for some reason, when we use the coal car, it comes easily unattached from the train in front of it. We just don't use it a lot, but it's really cool when we do, because as the coal cart moves, the coal inside the cart appears to move up and down. Overall, I would definitely recommend this train set. The pros outweigh the cons.

    Great train that is easy to put together and works with a remote even off the track. Our daughter loves it and the dogs too! Lol the track can be put into an oval or rectangle. The only thing we still can't figure out is how to make the “steam” come out. But still so much fun without it. We plan on putting it under the tree this Christmas!

    My twin sons just love this Adventure Force Railway Train set. They love trains so this is a great set for them. The set comes with all the parts that you will need to build a fun track. It has everything that they will need to make up fun stories. The set is easy to put together. It comes with an engine car, a coal car, a passenger car, a caboose and straight and curved train track pieces. The pieces are very nice quality and durable and the trains move along the tracks smoothly. The remote control is easy to operate. The train engine produces smoke, has lights and sounds. My kids are having so much fun making up stories and playing together. They love changing up the tracks every time they play with them. This set is great for a lot of engaging imaginative play. This is such a cool set for my sons which will keep them entertained for a long time. Highly recommend!

    Great remote control train set
    This train set will make a wonderful gift for a child or go great around a Christmas tree. Its bigger than i thought once assembled. The train Lights up and makes train noises. It is plastic so it could be broken but better quality than i anticipated. Overall its a good train set for children!
