I love this product.
Looks great. It replaced a Smith Hawkins bench that was much more expensive. This is just as nice. It did take a little expertise to assemble. But once assembled, WOW!

Product description misrepresentation
The description on the website states the Assembled Product Weight is 65 lbs. In fact it is 40 lbs and not near as substantial as advertised.

    Nice bench
    The bench is a gift for my wife and is just the right size for our small patio. The materials are very good and it went together with a little help from one other person. One slat had become loosened, but a little glue corrected it. If there is a matching chair, I might be tempted to get it.

    I would buy again
    This bench is built with quality materials and fine workmanship. It can be rather difficult to assemble so I recommend having a helper assist. Once assembled it is very sturdy, and adds to the beauty to your home. So far, we are pleased with it.

    Excellent bench
    This is an excellent bench. It is attractive, well made, and sturdy. We assembled it in a half hour. The key to assembly is to attach the seat, seat skirt, and back to one arm/leg piece, then attach the other arm/leg piece.

    Excellent product for the price
    I was a little skeptical about my purchase. Really, a teak bench for under $300. All of my skepticism vanished once I opened the box. Packaging was sturdy with no damages in shipping. There are some minor sanding marks and few other blemishes from the factory, but the construction is solid. Others have stated that the bench is hard to put together, but it only has six fasteners and took about 10 minutes to put together. Excellent product for the price!

    Gorgeous bench. Terrible Instructions.
    I love this bench. It is exactly what I wanted for my entryway. It is beautiful and nice and sturdy. So why no 5 stars? The instructions consisted of a one page picture with arrows pointing to various places for screws. My husband and I spent over two hours putting this together and taking it apart when we realized that a different piece had to be installed first before another piece would fit. We nearly came to blows in our opinions on how to do this. So regardless of how wonderful the ultimate product is, you lose two stars over the poor instructions as to how to put it together!!
