So nice!
After reading lots of reviews I unsure how this would work out, but it's wonderful! I'm in a desert area with low humidity, the ideal place to use evaporative cooling. This little unit is light weight, compact, easy to operate and move around, and is making my spaces much more comfortable. From the complaints I see in reviews, people need to know to treat the unit with care. It's made of plastic and has a drawer that slides out with small catches, and the filter slides up and out too. I'm a repair person, and I am impressed with how well designed and made this unit is. I don't see anything but quality. Internally things are put together with screws instead being pressed/glued together, so it looks easy to take apart if needed for deep cleaning. Mine has not leaked at all, but once when I bumped the outer louver closed it did drip a bit in front, not the fault of the device. It's not noisy. The handy nightlight can be turned off. Just remember, this isn't designed for large spaces. It's just what they say, a "personal" space cooler for use on a desktop or nightstand beside the bed. I like it enough I'm going to get at least one more so I don't need to move them around. I've added a photo showing the filter.

Exactly how it came out of the box.
Package didnt have any tape on it, when i pulled the product out of the box, the front plastic grill had a piece broken out of it and someone placed it in the water tank, mdse, may have been a returned product to begin with.

    it is a size needed for where i place it. i had to call, didnt take instructions out of plastic, unit so small couldn't see how it would cool. I put ice in top of unit and froze tray, but wasn't very strong and had to replace ice frequently. better than nothing. but still not sure.

    Save your money$$$$$$$!
    This is a glorified and oversized small fan. Nothing more nothing less. Blows cool air, yes. However, it is not fit for a simple 10x10 room, unless pointed directly at the individual. Save your money and buy a regular fan, swamp cooler, or smallest AC unit! As seen on Tv is not always as advertised on Tv!

    not at all what it claims. it doesn't cool off any space by any means. you have to have it directly in your face in order to even feel it blowing. not happy

    Arctic Air Rocks!
    I love this little AC. I discovered adding approximately half water and half crushed ice makes a quicker colder cool. The unit is a little loud on high and using my method, rather quickly, you can turn it to a lower speed.
