TJ is is my second purchase of Arctic King. I absolutely love this item and it cools off whatever level I put it on. Also, the black color is the best

Buyer BEWARE (bought refurbished and it doesnt't w
DO NOT BUY! I recently bought and received the refurbished Arctic King portable AC / heat unit. It was delivered 7/12/2021. Within one hour of use the unit shut itself down and started beeping in a glitchy manner continuously. It wouldn't respond to the buttons on the unit, the remote, or the app. I had to cut the power from the plug to actually turn it off. I tried using it several times since and it continues to have the same problem. I contacted the company (and paypal) immediately but its now been several days with no answer or response. Very inconvenient during the hottest part of the year. This unit was likely returned because of this problem and it clearly was cleaned and sent back out without having been fixed. I will edit / update this review if I eventually get any service from this company.

    Lacking Vital Information
    The machine it self has been working pretty good, but when there was an issue and I needed to contact the manufacturer, they required the serial number. It is actually not on the device. I looked everywhere. Now I did get it refurbished but who doesn't provide the serial number? When I called customer service they couldn't provide me with it either. Don't they know what they sold me? Doesn't seem appropriate. I would not recommend getting something refurbished.

    I've purchased multiple AC units over the years and this is by the best unit I've had the pleasure of using! Set up is so easy and it cools down a room in minutes and consistently throughout the day! Do yourself a favor and invest in this!

    Blows cold
    I want to come back when the summer heat comes in here in Virginia. This was a good buy and the installation was super easy. 69 to 75 was to cold for my bedroom so Ive had it on 76. It gets cold quickly and it has an auto start and stop feature. Its loud and I work from home out of my bedroom but the cooling benefit outweighs that noise. Its power remote operated and has a lot of different functions such as heat and fan. I will come back and update this after it gets hotter.

    One of the best purchases ever
    Im so happy with this purchase. I have a sunroom that is 575 sq ft and I love that room. Until now I was unable to sit in it if the temperature outside was in the 30s. But, this heater/air conditioner keeps it comfortable enough that I can sit out in my PJs even if the sun isnt shining on a cold day. One of the best purchases ever. I havent used the ac yet, but Im sure it will cool the room enough in the summer so that I can sit in there without getting all sweaty.

    Excellent ac. I haven't used heater yet, but if half as good as ac, I'll be satisfied. Although refurb, with the warranty that comes with it and added 3 years for $36 it was a nobrainer. Now if only this review doesn't jink it...

    Great Air, Heating Unit for Texas weather.
    This is perfect for Houston Texas weather. I have C.O.P.D and My Dr. Ordered me to stay Cool or I would have to use oxygen, this amazing Air, Heating Unit is just what the Dr. Ordered, And at the amazing Walmart price , I was so happy. And this unit work's great, it actually gets Cold now. One very happy customer.

    Need help
    Showed up today directions are terrible very blurry (for me at least ) No remote looked everywhere in the boxes for it no were to be found Son Downloaded the arctic king app nowhere in the app has a heat mode Can not figure out how turn on the heat please help I also think I will have to have my son drain it for me pretty heavy But it is blowing good cold air

    The item itself is ok, it seems to work well enough. The one I bought said refurbished but nowhere did it say that the item would be busted up, damaged and have pieces missing. The photo is the item straight out of the box...id say just buy a new one
