Easy.
I got men's 2X, not 4x. They were the cheapest and I was worried but thought, it's just for sleepwear, so I got them. And they are warm, comfy, don't ride up or twist or bind and, ahem,...I've also worn them into town. Look good. No problems.

BUYER BEWARE! BAD SWEATPANTS@
On 9/26/21, I purchased 3 pairs of the Athletic Works Fleece Sweatpants. What a mistake that was! All 3 pairs, shed so bad, that I had to take them off in the middle of the day. They all ended up going into a load of wash, by themselves. Not surprising, there was a lot of fuzz at the bottom of the washer. I put the pants into the dryer. I took them out of the dryer, about 40 minutes later. Each pair was ruined! They ALL ended up with little holes in the crotch area and down the legs. I was so angry by then, I just threw them out!

    Old school with pockets .
    I've been a fan of old school classic sweats. One thing that always bothered me is they never had pockets . If you like me and enjoy lounging around the house on a cold winter sunday grab a pair of these old school classic sweats . With pockets!!

    Ho Ho Ho
    It might seem strange (OK, maybe not) that it's challenging to find red pants to complete a Santa outfit. I found these and they fit the bill. Would they work for other purposes? hmmm - lounging? check - active wear? nah (they're really not as warm as you might expect) - daily wear? nope (nothing says "I have no interest in life like red sweatpants in public) - other costumes? sure

    Workout or not
    This fleece pant from Athletic Works arrived just in time for the new years resolution. Needed new gear to get into, and increase motivation to stay active through the year. This is a large size and fits comfortably, accommodating waist sizes 36 to 38 give or take. The whole pant has some stretch to it making it easy to feel great. There is additional stretch around the waist with a cord to tighten. Also, the hems at the bottom have additional stretch to it as well. Supposedly it has odor control and wicks moisture which I've yet to experience, as I'm taking fitness slowly as I begin the new year. This is a bright red color which I'm not too fond of, but if I'm running along the road on a cold morning, I'd like to be seen and alert motorists, which is a good thing. When not exercising, these are also comfy just to wear and lounge around as they feel great as mentioned before just to reiterate. I did wash them before initial use, and did not see any defects, so they should last a while. Overall, other than the bright red look-at-me color, these are great to slip into for workouts, or if not feeling it, they are great for general everyday use as well. Highly recommended.

    Thin Fleece with a Loop Drawstring
    These sweatpants are made of a thinner than usual fleece material. The workmanship is good. The pockets are the same color as the pants. The drawstring is a continuous loop, which makes it difficult to tie. The elastic is not strong enough to hold up the pants with a small cell phone in the pocket. Changes I would make are stronger elastic and a drawstring with two ends that can be properly tied.

    You get what you pay for
    I gave these sweatpants 2 stars because after the second time I wash them the seam on the right came apart. I got the medium size 32-34. They are really soft and the sizing seems accurate. If the stitching didn't come apart I might give them four stars. They retail for under $8. Pretty good price. But you get what you pay for

    No-Frills Comfort
    There are many ‘fashionable' sweatpants on the market…that are simply not comfortable. They may be too snug or so tight that you can't even bend over without exposing your underwear or yourself. Many are impractical with no pockets or fake pockets-in which case you have to hold your phone and keys in your hands. Some may be so heavily branded that your sweats become a billboard. These fleece sweatpants are perfect and practical. They are soft and comfortable with actual, functional pockets. They do not ride up on you when you work out. There is moisture wicking technology involved, so any sweat is pulled away from the skin. It is a sweatpants after all and therefore the material is thick yet breathable. Movement is not restricted as the material holds but moves along with you, rather than stick to your skin and chafe. The color is very visible…bright red. My wife calls it my ‘Santa Claus' pants. This, however, works out perfectly for me because I cycle at night and the brilliant color adds to my visibility when cycling. In conclusion, I do recommend these sweatpants that make you feel comfortably athletic without the burden of being a mobile sporting ad campaign.

    Good solid basic sweat pants
    Athletic Works Men's and Big Men's Fleece Elastic Bottom Sweatpants – Red These are red, basic sweat pants with nice/deep front pockets but no back pocket. You can put your phone/keys in these pockets and not worry about them sliding out when sitting or driving. The bottoms of the legs are traditional elastic type so you put them on before your shoes – These are not warm up pants that can put them on or taken off with your shoes on. They are medium thickness so they are warm but not too warm. So far, they have stood up to regular use and going through the washer a few times, if you are looking for a basic pair of sweat pants, these do the job.

    Comfortable pants vibrant color
    The color on these is very rich and vibrant in person. Great for working out outside and being seen by passing traffic for safety. These are soft. Very comfortable to wear. Would absolutely recommend these for lounging around or for working out/ physical activities.

    Ah, the soft feel of cotton!
    I go through a long exercise program every morning in my home health club and sometimes it is a little cool in the room. Decided to try these pants to warm my legs somewhat. At 60% cotton they are SOFT and very comfortable. The 40% polyester keeps them wrinkle free and dry during a workout. The pants have side pockets, an elastic drawstring on the interior waist, and elastic cuffs on the legs. Everything you need in an excellent pair of sweatpants at a very reasonable price! I would recommend them to anyone who often uses sweatpants for any purpose.

    Nice lightweight pair
    I found these to be a nice lightweight pair of sweatpants. They are soft and comfy. Sizing seems to be about right, felt a bit tight initially and after drying but loosen up after wearing. If you like them really baggy I suggest upsizing a size. Has the typical Waist drawstring and bottom elastic which do their jobs respectively.
