Underwhelmed
The smell is horrible, it's sticks to everything and I only used a very small amount, less then what it recommends (literally the size of a dime or less), I have to wash my pillow cases daily otherwise I break out. It rips your hair out creating thin spots, and if I didn't know any better the chemicals used to create it will cause baldness! I only made it through 3/4 of one container and threw it out.

    Good, but still looking for better
    This is what my husband has been getting for a couple years now. He likes it well enough but it's definitely pretty sticky and can leave residue different places if he isn't careful. His hair is thick and if his it grows out too much before his next cut, it doesn't work as good. He's looking for an alternative, but for now this is the best he has found.

    A Surprising Outcome
    I was looking for a replacement since my hair salon was out of my usual matte pomade. After buying 3 different ones, I was surprised by this one. It was fairly cheap so I didnt think it would be that great. I wear my hair in a faux hawk so I need precise styling. This worked its magic! It actually holds so well I dont even need to top it off with hairspray. Also lasts awhile, I went 2 days without a wash and it was still holding yet movable if I wanted to style different. To me out of a lot of other products this has zero smell. Most products are aimed for men and have that manly scent but I found this one to be mild. There is almost zero shine as well. I would definitely recommend this!
