Black and Decker drill (products) always a winner
My husbands old one ( so old don't remember how old) gave out so nought a new one and it's great. It's also a really good deal. You buy this and of course it comes with a battery and charger. Which is great since we have several BnD products that use these same lithium batteries.

I haven't used the drill. It was in a bubble bag. The end of the box was torn off, the cord was hanging loose inside the bag, the cardboard for holding the drill was inside the bag. It 's probably not working or won't work very long. I'm afraid to even mess with it; I'll probably just send it back. (If it's torn apart because someone else returned it you'd think the vendor would have respected the consumer enough to repack it before sending it to someone else)

    compatible with bolt on and is Durable/lasts!
    love the compatibility with the bolt on series! my bolt on motor finally burned out from excessive use and too much dust getting into it while working with it. I've had this as my replacement since 2018 and it's still going strong and another great plus is the batteries also work on many other tools b

    Seems to be an upgraded unit
    I bought this as a replacement for a previously owned Matrix drill. (I also bought the corded version) I wanted on of these since I had a number of options This is NOT the same as the previous versions, but the attachments are compatible. The unit feels more substantial and the motor even sounds more gutsy. And it has a target lamp as well to shine at the target work. The older unit did not have an LED lamp Overall, I think it's an upgraded unit

    Just the power and convenience I was looking for.
    I needed a cordless drill that wasn't expensive but had enough power and features to do small jobs. I am pleased with this model. The drill is lightweight, and easy to hold. I haven't used the drill long enough to run the battery down, but the battery charges a bit after every use. The initial charge took 3 1/2 hours.

    Love my drill
    This is fairly lightweight and easy to handle. The charge lasts a long time. I was able to drill holes in the bottom of 12 planters, using diamond bit drills, so excess water could drain out. I have a few other projects I can now tackle with my drill.

    From inexperienced to somewhat handy...
    When it comes to power tools and working with wood, I hadn't touched either since the fourth quarter of my 6th grade introduction to shop class. But after my dad passed away about five years ago, finding a hobby that I always wanted to share with him was a big motivation. That's where the Matrix came in. I had little no experience with a lot of power tools and woodworking equipment. But with the Matrix, I found a way to sort of bridge the gap from inexperienced to somewhat handy when it comes to my new found hobby/passion. From the router bit to the jig and circular saw attachments, I was able to learn a lot through trial and error with basically idiot proof equipment. I've now completed a couple of neat projects for my wife's classroom, and have a few more planned for Christmas this year. Thanks to the Matrix system, I'm able to do a few things I probably wouldn't have been able to prior. If I can go from lost to knowing what I'm doing, so can you. Highly recommend this to anyone!
