Solid and efficient tool
I got this tool today, I do home renovations and a lot of hard, dirty work. I also smith as a hobby making knives and axes, etc. I like BD tools more specifically porter cable branded, but since I was in walmart it was an offhand purchase. My local WM is a mess at all times and of the 3 display grinders this was the only one you could buy, not to mention even in their system, though, WM aside, I'm very happy with the tool. This grinder is rated best for your buck on the showdown lists (branded PC, same tool) and everything an angle grinders supposed to do this does, and well. I have no doubt it will NEVER break but at the price I would 100% repurchase.

Miss the old ones
As an Ironworker for 30+ years I have used many 4-1/2 grinders, mostly B & D
I still have one from the 1980's, type 101 other # is 2750, compare the one to the ones B&D make to day, no comparing the older ones. They were smaller and much easier to use and not made in China I have burned out 2 of the new type in the last 4 years But they are cheap enough I consider them throw away tool

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/23/2020Quality Product A WinnerWanted it to sharpen garden tools, it did a great job. On/Off switch is a safety switch, slide forward ON, press down on rear of switch to slide OFF. It's a grinder NOT a cutter.Glen

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/16/2017Great item for the priceI like this grinder as it is the first one I've ever owned... no problems with it as of yet. Although the picture is different than what I received.... I won't complain about that because its a minor issue.Tigger61fire

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/09/2016Great priceHave put 2 of the 6 purchased to use in our steel fabricating shop with no problems so far. The great thing about these is the price and if they do go bad just toss them and buy new ones. So far we're using them for some pretty heavy grinding of welds and they have the power to do what we need them to do.DaveJ

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/15/2015Nice for the pricePicked this grinder up today because I had to cut some curves in a couple of pieces of floor tile. I could have picked up a Ryobi in another store but I did not want to buy another Ryobi product after a bad experience with their customer service. I didn't want to spend a lot of money either. There were other times I could have used a grinder but just never considered buying one. I bought this because I didn't want to cut the curves using the wet saw and then have the tile chip when I nipped off the pieces. Used a diamond blade and it did what it was supposed to do. Made a few nicks on the surface but they'll be covered by molding. Only gave it 4 starts because I used it for about 30 minutes to cut the curves and haven't really used it for anything else. The price was right and it worked and reduced the aggravation level down to zero.Satisfieduser
