Lavender kit
I had high expectations for this product with its attractive packaging and thorough instructions, but I have no lavender to show for my diligent efforts. First time, nothing whatsoever sprouted. Second try, two spindly seedlings appeared, got taller, then died without ever growing a second set of leaves. Next time I'll buy lavender plants - but not from this company.

    Trying to be patient
    Its such a sweet idea and the jar itself seems like it will be perfect. Now Im just waiting for the seedlings to develop. They are very fragile so far...hoping it isnt too long before they are strong. I have a very green thumb so its not me haha. I got my gardening friend one also so will have her keep me posted. The picture shows how the seedlings look...fingers crossed!

    Cute seedlings!
    My lavender seeds germinated over the weekend and three little heads popped up out of the soil! I still have seeds so I'll start another set of plants to add to my new lavender collection.

    This grow kit big disappointment
    I think thus kit is a waste of time and money. The pictures were from 2nd set of seeds sent. Followed directions exactly. Still nothing. Only plant inside and outside house with ant issues. Was cheaper to go to local green house place and buy a plant. Actually got 2 already grown plants half the price if this kit. So much for the mothers day gift for my mother.

    Mine molded?
    It was an easy set up, but when I put the fertilizer spike it comes with, checking on it weeks later it's molded and there are tiny white bugs surrounding the jar. There was only one sprout. Wouldn't recommend unless you keep a tentative eye on it.

    Not growing as described...
    I began growing this fall of 2021, still no flowers and even after pruning my lavender grows out of control! Smells like a weed when I rub the leaves and the leaves are big and bushy. What's going wrong?

    Ehh.. it's okay
    I would not go this route (of buying a kit), just research, gather necessary supplies, and do it yourself. I helped my daughter set this up and at just 3 days shy of 30 days- we only had one successful germinate and I made share that she followed the included instructions 100%.

    I just got my kit today and I'm very excited. The planter is actually bigger than I had imagined, usually companies will mislead you with a big box small product or a family size bag of chips but only half the chips are in there..... that's not what's happening here. Huge sturdy jar, plenty of seeds, and super beginner friendly instructions. I'll be back in 30 days to update/write another review, but here's my day 1 photo. Can't wait to tell my students at school about this!!!

    The first kit I purchased about 7-17-21. Today is 8-25-21. Only one minute sprout has germinated. I love everything about this product but am holding my breath for germination. I have bought a second kit with lavender for my daughter as a gift in September
