yummy and filling
Surprised at some of the reviews. The texture of this meal would have been different had it been portioned out like a tv dinner. But it's a BOWL. I loved it!

Gross and slimey. Won't ever buy again.
This was awful. It did not look like the picture on the box. The chicken was tasteless and it was slimey. I would never buy this again. Nor would recommend it. I thought Banquet would produce a better product.

    I don't believe they're healthy (and I don't care about presentation... I mean, it's a microwave meal); I only care about flavor if I'm not trying to stay on the healthy path. Which I usually definitely want to. But if you're ever in a hurry [or like me and are STuCk in a hurry] then these will keep you alive at least. Lol! Also if you're on a budget. Just remember, it's about getting to the next day and not having to sacrifice taste to get there. Even if you have to sacrifice everything else. Just want to put that out there for anyone who feels guilty for buying these for food! And I Hope Everyone Who's Reading This Has A Better/Nice Day! (yeah i'm in a mood) Cheers! Here's To Your [Our] Better Health In The Very Near Future! Lol

    Nothing like th picture on the box.
    Yeah, I know the food you get never looks like the advertising but holy smokes this was a disappointment. Ended up being watery potatoes with soggy mostly bread nuggets. Its relatively cheap which is why I don't give it one star but it was disappointing.

    These would be great for dinner or supper! Ive had them before and they are quite tasty! But today, they are NOT here. YES, once again, part of my order is MISSING! Which means I have to make a second trip up there because of their mistake!

    good food but leave out the parsley
    For the most part this was really good but I won't be able to get it anymore. I can't eat green leafy stuff due to the blood thinner that I am on. I wish they would leave the parsley out of the bowls because I am sure there are others like me.

    I was super excited to try this until I opened it and realized that the chicken was just chicken nuggets and not actual chicken bites like showed in the picture. The chicken nuggets had no flavor and was mainly breading.

    Consider another option.
    This was more like a mega disappointment. The chicken was at least 80% breading. The other items were more or less mixed into the consistency of a sauce. At the additional cost of $1 over other frozen meals, perhaps my expectations were too high. Going forward into the future, I would certainly consider other options rather than this particular choice.

    The picture on the box is very deceiving, I expected a popcorn chicken type of thing based on the photo. Instead it was plain banquet nuggets in a soupy instant potato mess, I'm really disappointed that I spent $3 on this. You're better off going with their sweet and sour chicken. It too, has nuggets but the sauce makes them taste ok and since it's over rice you totally avoid the watery potato soup mess

    Nuggets in a Gelatinous Soup Mix
    Once enjoyed Mega chicken bowl and now wonder what happened. This chicken is not fried or even country style. Consists of plain coated nuggets accompanied by soupy potato in an oily liquid trying to pass as a gravy. For the price, I was okay to bulk up the potato soup with flakes from the pantry. Otherwise, this is only useful when desperately beating back a snack attack and nothing more. Until Banquet returns to its previous higher quality, adjust your expectations accordingly.

    I wish we the consumers can buy items from the same place the food companies buy theirs from that they put on boxes. This also pertains to fast food restaurants? Ever get a meal that looks anything close to what you ordered? This country friend chicken bowel looks like someone has already eaten it and vomited it back out. Nowhere close to looking like what's shown on the package.
