Good toy for the kids/grandkids..........
......that's who's got it now. The actual usable magnification is about half of what's advertised. You can keep turning the zoom but it goes out of focus (and stays out) long before it reaches the limit. The view is overly hazy and colors are off throughout the usable range. But hey, the kids don't care. The only *good* thing about it is the looks and the price, and with that: *You-Get-What-You-Pay-For*

    Look for another option
    Eye relief is pitiful. Less than 3/8 of an inch. Unusable with glasses at anything other than 15x (the lowest power). Clarity is poor, Color is distorted. Have had a couple of Barska rifle scopes, and they were at least functional, this really isn't.

    Not very good.
    It is indeed a spotting scope. The "stand" it comes with is lame. The bag just barely fits the scope. It won't fit the stand. But the worst part is the lousy eye relief. Even at the lowest magnification, getting a full sight picture is virtually impossible. Spend a little more money and buy a different spotting scope.

    good for the price.
    for the price it does good. from where I live you can see a thousand yards so having a few things around to check out critters and trespassers is good. it works but also cheap enough to carry around and not be so worried about.

    If you're looking for simple, inexpensive then yah
    Not super impressed, yes it is a cheap one I get that. I bought it for a personal range I built on my property. I didn't want an expensive one for people to mess up. As for the tripod what a joke. It is definitely you get what you pay for in Optics.

    Worth it
    For $29 you can't go wrong and perfect for my usage. Wanted something cheap and light to sight my rifle at 100-200 yards and something to confirm the antlers on a deer (my scope is only 3x14). Haven't tested it in low light conditions and how it fogs in cold weather but don't expect much its only $28.49. One thing I thought made no sense was the warranty, which required $25 to cover inspection and shipping when sending it in. I'd rather spend the extra $3.49 and get a new on.

    Good product for the price
    For the price you can't go wrong. This scope is easy to use and zooms in pretty good. The tripod stand is a bit sketchy but does function. The case you get with it could be just a little bit bigger, it is a tight fit to get it in. Had to stretch the case over night to help fit the scope in. If you are looking for a scope for competition shooting this one would work up to a point. If you are a professional shooter go for a stronger scope but if you are the everyday shooter at the local range this will work just fine.

    Light weight & compact. Easy to carry, setup and use. To many spotter scopes are big and bulky. Bigger is not always better.
