Do not purchase
This router was terrible for us. We purchased it on April 5,2016 and hooked it up on April 12,2016. We never experienced a solid connection. it would constantly disconnect. After rebooting all our electronics and keeping this router for about 3 weeks we decided that was it we had enough. It was time to return it. Went to Walmart to return it and the denied the return. It was over 30 days. The return policy states 90 days. They told me this is a exception to the return policy. This is considered computer hardware. A router? A defective router ? I just can't believe it. More and more Walmart is disappointing me. :(

    A good little router
    The arrival was on time and delivered without problems. The device was easy to setup and the setup[ program is user friendly. I am not using the wifi but when I did it was adequate. In the far reaches of the house the signal did decrease. (ranch house with 2200 sq ft). As a router without wifi it is more than adequate, fits my needs and the price is reasonable.

    Worth a ZERO !!
    I would give this router a zero if I could. If you are a Xfinity customer, run away from this thing. I bought 3 because they were marked down to $25. I tried all 3 and got the same results. Dropped connections or none at all. I did install one at my cousin's house, they have Zoominternet and it worked there just fine. Go figure!

    Had to Tweak the Router for Better Performance
    I bought this router from Walmart after my antique Linksys finally died. Set-up was easy enough, but I was unsatisfied with the internet speeds I got with this router attached. My connection was very slow even when connected by Ethernet cable. I got a lot of "buffering" while streaming video. I found that if I disabled the router's feature called "IntelliStream" my download & upload speeds increased by over 30%. So, I'll keep it, especially since the 30 return period has expired. I would not recommend this router because of having to tweak it to get acceptable performance and because the range is only average.

    Unbelievable range and speed using 5 ghz band.
    Walked 375 feet from router down the street with door closed to house and garage door open. Speed slowed to 3 MBPS down and 3 MBPS upload but surfing was quick. Inside the 2 story house speed was 233 MBPS download and 12 MBPS upload. Upstairs not as fast. Blows away Amped Wireless High Power Wireless-N 600mW Smart Router R10000. Amped touts long range, yea right. Couldn't get out of the driveway without disconnect wifi signal.

    Horrible Router
    I purchased the router on 07/14. It is now 07/18 and it has already randomly reset itself back to factory defaults once and just stopped working (requiring a hard reset) three times. I also had, and continue to have issues getting other devices to properly connect, including a VoIP phone I use for work and my Laptop computer.
