Used as leader
Ive had this line aor at least a year and used it as a short leader two weeks ago I was bank fishing for cats and I got hooked up to a giant fish and finally got it in. I went back Monday this week and hooked into the same fish. My mistake was not retying my leader so I wrestled for a few minutes before the cat pulled my leader away. The line merely separated where I tied it. Didn't break, just pulled it from my main line, braid. Guess ill super glue the next time!

Great visibility
The color makes it easy to see when a fish swims off with you bait also line jumps more prominent. Good sensitivity for mono. Only a few fish so far but quite happy over all.

    I had this line in 10lb test on a rod for around a year, and was getting ready to change the line on the spool. I ended up snagging a gar around 20lb's and was able to confidently fight the fish on line that was significantly lighter than the fish.

    Very Forgiving!
    Very good for all kinds of fishing, since it shows up well above the water, and is less seen under the water. Very forgiving with back lashes, when you need to get that bait back in (or out again). Especially good in 12 or 15 lbs. if you are like me, bad at backlashes, trying to loosen up and get more distance!

    Great for multi presentation.
    I have been using this line for several years in different pound tests for several different presentations. I have use the 20 and 25 pound for soft plastics and jigs and also top waters. I use 12 and 15 for crank baits and it works well on spinning with 10 and 12. Great strength and good abrasion resistance with nice castability and relatively low memory.

    love the clear gold, I recently got back into fishing and used to use the Berkely Tri-Max line which I believe was also a gold type line , after a brief search I found the Clear Gold line I was hoping to find a 2000 yd spool but had to buy 10 rolls of 220.

    It works.
    Handles and casts well like Trilene always does. 4lb not as visible to me as Stren blue but i love how it blends into the water. If you really need to see the line you may want to go no smaller than 6lb test. Myself, I'm loving the 4.

    Strong, reliable and visible.
    I started to use this product three years ago. I was looking for a line that I could see. The gold tint lets you see the line but when enters the water it disappears. I caught all these fish on 6 lbs test line over Easter Holiday weekend.
