    amazing strength
    I've been using Berkley Trilene XL smooth Casting clear line for the past 30 years and it has never me down. In the photo's below is my latest catch using 4 lb XL tied to an 8 lb XL leader with a Bimini Twist and landed this fish. I believe it was between 10-12 lbs... So thank you Berkley for a great product.

    Berkeley Trilene is everything my wife wishes I was; strong, sensitive and reliable! But seriously folks Berkeley Trilene XL has been our go to line for Northwoods walleye for over 30 years. Sure, we've tried different stuff but nothing has compared.

    Great casting line
    I am retired and fish for bass and trout approximately 100 days/yr and use Trilene XL exclusively on my spinning reels. The 4# low vis green is perfect to throw small cranks, spoons and spinners for trout here in the crystal clear White River tail water below Bull Shoals dam. XL is a dream to cast on spinning reels, has the stretch needed for setting the hook on light line and a diameter small enough to not affect your lure's action while drift fishing in 4 mph river current. Excellent strength and knot reliability.

    The Best Mono on the market!!
    I fish quite often in heavy current below a large dam with very rocky conditions where abrasion resistance is extremely important. This is during the spring run for 3-6 pound American shad and make literally 100's of casts a day. I have tried just about every other monofilament line on the market in these conditions and have found that Sensation holds up much longer than any other brand. Smallest diameter and very limp which results in longer casting distance and manageability. All of this at a very reasonable price. Try it out...I'm sure that you will agree...

    The only line I will buy
    I own right around two dozen spinning rods. Everyone is spooled with either Trilene XT or XL. All my light to ultralight rods use 4-6 pound xl. My medium light to medium heavy rods 8-14 XL. I tried a lot of other lines, but that was over 20 years ago. None were as tough or castable as my Trilene. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Just Buy It!
    Using this on an Abu Garcia 6000C Swedish made reel. enough line to fill spool with some extra, good price, cast well, for a mono it is very limp, line "dig" on reel not bad. I personally can not afford all the new braids and this line has held up well before. Breaking is closer to 25 or more. Just wish it came in more colors.
