Disappointed in the product and in Cust. Service
I saw that this had some really good reviews and decided to overlook some of the bad ones. I figured some times what one person likes another doesn't. Don't make the same mistake I did. Half of the pieces aren't marked. I followed the instructions to a T, and it is still flimsy. Also, there is def room for a notebook and a laptop but nothing else. A small laptop at that. I usually don't leave reviews but this was awful. Hopefully I can spare someone else the waste of time and money!

    This desk was very easy to assemble and instructions clear with pictures to show where pieces fit. It fits perfectly in a smaller space with a dark brown color that goes well with other furniture in bedroom. Very pleased with desk.

    I Never Review Items, But This Needed 5 Stars!
    I have to post a review on this desk. I am amazed at how well this desk is constructed and the packing was so good. Every little component was exactly included down to the smallest piece of hardware. The instructions were so easy that anyone could easily put it together. When it is fully constructed it is beautiful and very sturdy. Yes its manufactured wood with a laminate covering but you cannot tell looks great next to my other furniture that is expensive wood. Great purchase.

    Good desk for the price
    This desk was very well packaged. There are A LOT of pieces! You need to be patient as it took an hour and 15 minutes to put together, but turned out nicely. The drawers don't slide in and out as smoothly as I would have hoped. Overall I think it's a good desk for the price.

    I love the assembly of this product! The way the instructions are laid out makes putting everything together so simple and quick! I recommend this brand to everyone! Plus the stickers to hide the hardware match the “wood” exactly!

    Defective.
    I like the desks appearance and the bottom drawer as a file cabinet. I didn't think it was too difficult to put together either, perhaps a bit time consuming. That being said, after it was entirely together, and I went to slide in the drawers, the bottom drawer is perfect. The top drawer goes in fine, but once it's in, it falls a bit to the left and sits crooked. Rubbing on the piece between the two drawers. Then it becomes difficult to pull back out- requires lifting before sliding. This indicates that the pre drilled holes for the drawer slides are either slightly askew or there is something wrong with the slide itself. Not thrilled to have paid this much for a defective desk. And there is absolutely no way to know this is a problem until the last step. I'm going to attempt to contact either Walmart or Sauder, but I have my doubts they'll do anything to remedy it. Buyer beware.

    Lovely Farmhouse Desk
    I chose this desk as my work from home desk. I bought the lighter color. It matches most of my other furniture from the Modern Farmhouse Collection. It was very easy to put together and its really good quality. Especially the drawers! Very happy with my purchase!
