Bad Rust Issues
I was so excited to find this hard top gazebo in the size I needed. Despite the reviews I decided to move forward with the purchase.
I purchased this from Walmart and it started to rust after one day of rain. Ive only had it up for 4 days and Im ready to take it down; it is beginning to staining my new deck.
Since I cant return it and it took so long to assemble, I am going to try spraying it with rustoleum and caulking the seems before trashing it. If I knew it was going to rust this soon, I would have saved my money and invested in a better quality gazebo.
It is extremely difficult to install if you follow the directions, which has you fully assemble the roof before lifting it onto the post. I discovered after the fact it is much easier to install the top to the post before installing the roof panels.
I am very disappointed that I literally threw away over $600. DO NOT PURCHASE, WASTE OF TIME

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/19/2021AwesomeBought this for our 4 seater patio table. Perfect size. Shipped in one big box weighing 250 lbs and the box didn't hold up so well but thankfully every piece was fine. Took husband and me 3-4 hours to put up. To stand it up we put the legs on and tipped it over. No leaks in the rain. Love it.Cyn3a

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/10/2021nice if the parts were in orderAwful instructions, almost every piece was bent up including the steel posts! Almost every roof panel was flawed. Called Walmart for a partial refund and the manufacturer to send out replacement parts.Jillw

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/29/2020Heavy duty! - @wifeonadimeHeavy duty gazebo that looks much more expensixe than it is. For an 8x8 this feels bigger! Love the hard top look and its beavy enough that we didnt need to bolt it down. Love the velcro on nets! I put this together mostly by myself but it took 3 of us to lift it and get the legs on. I recommend 4 people because its SO heavy. Worth it though! Follow my instagram @wifeonadime for more affordable products and reviews!amber

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/18/2020Rest area for my Wife when working in the garden!Assembly is definitely a 2-man plus job—even though I had no plans to use the netting it was the reason I gave a 4 rating (not very good quality netting)—purchased sun screen panels for the sides as shown in picture. The gazebo itself without the screen seems to be very sturdy and time will tell the benefits of going to a hard shell cover because I've been buying regular soft cover gazebos every time a replacement was needed—wanted something more durable that I can use for years instead a year or 2 at a time.Roger

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/08/2017Perfect for our needsJust bought this gazebo to shade our spa. I used the free ship-to-store option. The package weighed 252.8 pounds but four young bucks slid it into the back of my GMC Yukon at the Wal-Mart front doors. I closed the hatch and drove home. My wife and I then opened the carton while still in the truck. Inside were several smaller packages and pieces so we made about 6 trips each until the all of the contents were out back. The hardware was packaged very nicely, organized in blister packs on white cardboard. Total assembly time for the two of us was about 4 hours using a small impact driver to run up the bolts quickly. We are very happy that we found this gazebo after looking at the prices of others. It looks great. We bolted on the roof panels AFTER lifting the roof frame onto the posts. It took a ladder to reach the bolts but I was able to get them in without incident. The package dimensions in inches are 85.5 X 25.5 X 9.5, so it is under eight feet, fitting easily into trucks and large SUV's.PUTTYFUL

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/01/2017Looks GreatThe item is made with good material and looks great once erected. Instructions can be confusing. Recommend you read instructions over several times to ensure coordination of the right screws washers and locknuts with the right portion of the instruction sheet. It did take five people to lift and erect the gazebo once the top was finished. Welds are slightly off requiring the nuts not to be tightened on the basic frame until the very last opportunity. As a precaution, i used silicone as well as rust oleum flat paint to ensure no rusting at the bolt locations. This did add time to the build. But as the pictures indicate, it looks great and I expect it to last for many years. I do recommend this productCab1
