Elegant desk
This desk was a deal for sure. I had been looking for a modern desk that wasn't bulky for my office and this was perfect. It offers 3 drawers, it is lightweight even after you put it together, and durable so far. I love that legs are made of metal as well. it was easy to assemble in an hour, one drawer sticks but not a biggy for me.

Don't buy
I would not recommend purchasing this desk. The assembly was MISERABLE. With a typical assembly, at least a few items are together as a starting point for the consumer. This is not the case with this desk. You even have to put the tracks on the drawers. The worst assembly I've ever done. It looks as cheap as it costs. I'm on week 3 of trying to assemble this desk, and I'm giving up. The base is metal which is a pleasant surprise, but the top is cheap wood that you basically build from scratch. Not what I had in mind for a desk I purchased online! Nothing lines up perfectly, and it's just bad. I'm returning. The only reason I would recommend this desk is if you literally can't afford anything else on the internet.

    Decent at the clearance price
    I bought 2 of these desks on clearance at $59 each and for that price they are a good deal. I would not pay full price for them as they are not worth that. Sturdy but quite a few pieces to assemble. Not hard if you have previous experience. Doesn't look cheap but it wouldn't pass for expensive either. Drawers open and close as expected. Frame is metal so a solid base.

    cute but cheap, fake wood
    Beautiful desk but beware that you get what you pay for. The fake wood is so delicate you can almost hear it cracking as you are screwing so be extra careful if using an electric screw driver. The instructions are ok but definitely could be better. There's a huge mistake in the very first step that had me looking for a part labeled J but looking at the pictures it was supposed to say another letter. Overall took about 3 hours to assemble.

    Well-built, nice-looking sturdy desk!
    Really good desk for $70!! I'm impressed! I didn't expect it to be all that great for such a great price. I got it for my 6 yr old daughters room, so she could use it as a vanity and a desk/art table. Admittedly it is a little large for a small child but I wanted her to have a decent sized work area and this fit the bill. It wasn't hard to put together- you really do have to pay attention to EVERY little detail in the drawings to make sure you do things right though. The drawers work nicely and aren't crooked like some other reviewers had issues with. Everything went together straight and all the all the holes were drilled properly and lined up perfectly. It's sometimes hit or miss when you get furniture with pre-drilled holes but ours was a winner. Yay! I painted our silver handles gold and they look good. And it's pretty heavy duty. The white part is painted or laminated (I can't tell) and the bottom stand is metal. I considered putting a piece of glass on top to save the surface but it's already heavy and I don't want to add extra weight. They recommend building it where it will go and I agree. It'll save you trouble later. If you're on the fence I say go for it! It looks very nice and not cheap at all. Honestly it looks like it came from a furniture store to me. I believe we'll have this desk for years to come!

    great desk, possibly haunted now. nbd.
    This desk is really beautiful and very sturdy. A little larger than what i imagined it would be, but it will be perfect for my son's gaming. The instructions state that the average assemly time is around an hour. I sit here, out of breath, at 4am on Christmas morning, writing this reciew to let you know that unless you have a doctorate in engineering, that estimate is generous and assumes that you can extrapolate information that simply isnt printed. The seemingly endless sting of obscenities that i both shouted and mumbled at this desk would make a grown man blush. It is together and sturdy, but i now fear that i may have inadvertently summoned dark beings from beyond this realm and i am no longer sure it is an appropriate gift for my young son. A lot of dark energy came out of me assembling this bad boy. It is now stored in the drawers. Drawers that i called every three, four and five lettered word your parents ever told you not to say, and some that i made up out of sheer fury. If you purchase this desk, good luck, and may the lord have mercy on your soul. Merry Christmas!

    The desk is beautiful. Except for drawer rails, assembling was relatively easy. The assemble instructions could be a little better. The price-quality ratio is proper.

    DO NOT BUY - drawers don't work.
    This looks nice, but after assembling twice, it is clear the drawers don't line up properly and only close with force. They sit about 1/8th of an inch too high so drawers constantly hit the top. I re-assembled with the slides as low as they would go and the problem still remains. No wonder this is 'clearance' - it is defective and isn't worth it even for the half off price of $79 I paid. This shouldn't even be sold. I bought this to add drawer space but they simply don't work. And now it's impossible to return a fully assembled, defective desk.
