Multi Functional Hard Cover
Much better than the soft cover, no waiting for the griddle off. Can be used as a steamer or for melting cheese when placed on the griddle as well.

Poor customer service
I ordered a grill and this cover, when they arrived the grill was damaged. I did not accept and sent it back, Fedex also took this cover. I didn't hear anything from Walmart on when I could expect the replacements. I called them and got a person from another country whom I couldn't understand and he couldn't understand me. I asked for a supervisor, but he said the supervisor was busy. I thought I finally got him to understand that I never accepted the grill and they also took the cover back, that I didn't have it and wanted a replacement. At that point I thought he understand. He said I would be getting a replacement 4 days later and he would send an email confirming the details. When I received the email I noticed that they were going to send me another grill and cover, but it stated I had to send the grill and cover back or I would be charged for the one they were sending me. Problem...I never accepted the grill or cover and did not have it. I now have to contact them again and try to get this staightened out so I do not get charged for the grill and cover I never received. Very frustrating and I would never order large item from them again.

    Great Blackstone addition
    Fits great, easy assemble. Built to last. I would not suggest you cook under it as it will distort the lid. Mine came back after it cooled down. Unit is slightly heavier that I would have thought :)

    The hard cover is essential in my opinion. Especially if you plan to leave your Griddle outdoors between uses. Quality of the cover is excellent: sturdy, but not too heavy. Assembly is a quick four screws to attach the handles and parking hooks. Be sure to check the directions to do it right.

    Awkward...should see an attached hood
    Solid, well fitting, very well made for what it is. That said, it's awkward and must be leaned up against our table when not in use. To use the attached hanging hooks, the griddle must be place away from walls, railings, or anything else. I would've much preferred being able to purchase a 36" griddle with an attached roll-back hood, but this isn't even an option, unless you purchase the griddle/air fryer combo. There are holes on either side near the back of the griddle that appear might accommodate a hood, but there is no hood available. If I'm wrong and just not seeing this accessory, would love to hear from y'all.

    Hard Cover 36” could be better
    So glad I purchased this cover. Now I can cover my 36” right after cooking and not leave it to the elements. It gets 3 stars for three reasons: it's very thin materiel which is not very sturdy, not being that sturdy it arrived dented, lastly the packaging was damaged which was probably the cause of the dent.

    Fantastic cover for Backstone 36" grill
    Fast and easy upgrade to my flattop. Assembly took all of 3 minutes and we were back to cooking immediately. I wholeheartedly recommend this cover to anyone with the 36" Blackstone flattop grill. It's da' bomb!!!!
