Totally worth the price, highly recommended!
I bought the griddle for my wifes Bday, she was so happy, she wanted 1 really bad. The delivery was a day early, it was so quick and easy to put together, about 20 min, and had it seasoned with in an hr. We cooked pork chops on it and they came out so good! We are very happy with our purchase, and will be using the deep fryer today to make chicken wings, will be the first time using the fryer, cant wait!!!

    Great design for the size. Perfect for balcony.
    Fast delivery, although dropped off at the front door of an apt building. Gladly I am in a decent neighborhood so all is well. Took only few minutes to put the unit together and get things going. Seasoned the grill according the instructions and was ready to go. There are few grey flags however: The outer body frame seems a bit thin. Makes things light, I agree, but hopefully won't warp if under a prolonged cooking times. So far so good however. Watch out for the heat dispersion on the burner. It is pretty high even on the lower setting. Not a huge issue, but watch your pan handle from overheating. All in all I am very pleased with the purchase.

    Learn how to use a griddle people
    So this is my 3rd Blackstone. I have a 36” at hunting camp, 28” at the house and now the 17” combo for my camper. It is awesome! I see all these reviews where they complain about things sticking and it's not getting hot enough etc. That's because you don't know how to use it. Learn how to season it first. Then learn the proper cleaning technique. All of this is online on YouTube. This griddle can run extremely hot (if you want it to) with the provided regulator developed by Blackstone. I purchased an adapter so that I can directly hook it up to my camper's propane system. This runs a little less hot because that regulator is not set up to push as much gas through as the original Blackstone regulator provided. However, the grill works perfectly for pancakes, eggs, steaks, burgers etc. but just does not get screaming scorching hot which you don't need anyway. The side burner with a cast iron pan or pot is perfect for sides or even back up marshmallow s'more roaster! And as far as the weight, all u have to do is take off the griddle and hood and move them separately. My wife and I have no problem what so ever setting it up or taking it down. Don't listen to all the negative reviews. I would buy this again.

    Will not light
    Looks nice, but it will not light or allow gas though. I believe the regulator that came with it is bad. So, I won't know how well it works till I get another.

    Open base design allows heat to escape
    I bought this with the hopes of combining a separate stove and griddle into one device. To be honest, I love the combo, but I quickly found out that the base needs a divider between the H burner and the round side burner so heat can be retained underneath the griddle portion. Also, both burners seem to be very easily affected by wind. In order to fix these two issues, I had to cut up some old pieces of a galvanized HVAC pipe to create a heat shield and wind guards for the griddle. The next step is to create a wind guard for the round burner side. If there was a built-in heat shield divider I would have given it 4, maybe 5 stars.

    Great for the fifth wheel camper trailer guy.
    Great quality with the exception of the feet. I have another 17'' griddle that I have used and thought this one with the attached lid and side burner would work well for camping as I'm always using a separate burner for a side dish beans etc. The concept is great but with the edition of a very sturdy attached grill cover and a cast iron side grate the item is very heavy. It will work great to be able to keep for the tent trailer and probably the back yard but its just too big/ bulky and heavy to be effecient for a quick trip or tent camping. Basically ideal for the guy with the big fifth wheel and truck with unlimited weight and room capacity.

    Why did I wait so long . . . .
    I've heard people talk the Blackstone griddles, never gave it much though, till I seen this one with a deep fryer, so I purchased it, fell on love with, now I need a 28' for my deck ! ! ! !

    Nice griddle, but messy grease pan
    Loved using this on a camping trip with our BSA troop and had to get our own. We saw the review how it fits the utility cart from Sam's Club and had to get one. It's $60 and fits perfectly. The only issues with the griddle are a) the igniters don't always work like others have mentioned and b) the grease drip pan in the back doesn't perfectly catch everything neatly. Some grease drips to the floor. I didn't see this issue mentioned in any other reviews which makes me wonder if there's something wrong with ours ... haven't used the deep fryer yet, but glad to have the side burner, even though it's mostly extra space for now, it will come in handy when camping.
