Not for bread!
I have used this flour for many things and have had wonderful result, except with bread. The loaves do not rise. I don't know why it fails so badly, but my husband is the baker and makes great bread for himself. When he uses the same recipe to make GF for me with this flour it is beyond disappointing. If this flour worked for bread, I'd give it a 5 star rating.

    The Best gluten free baking flour
    My husband and I are not a gluten celiac person. However, we always looking to eat healthy and avoid gluten sometime. This is my first time making gluten free cake via using Bob Red Mill flour. I am addicted with this and I'm baking every week. My entire family loves it!

    Best Gluten and corn free flour
    Excellent gluten free flour. As someone who is allergic to corn, it's really hard to find gluten free flours that I can use, but this one knocks it out of the park. When I bake for my friends they can't tell it's gluten free.

    Good, but gritty
    Worked beautifully, clean taste. A little gritty just before you swallow... Brown rice is the culprit there. People who haven't had glutinous foods in a while probably won't mind.

    Smooth Gluten Free thickening for sauces!
    I have tried several GF flour mixes and so far this is the best for me. I use it for thickening gravies and sauces and it is perfectly smooth! I have used it for cookies and although they are pretty good, I still notice some grittiness. Overall pretty good!

    The best !! Pizza Mice !! in the world are amazing because Bobsredmill 1 to 1 flour makes that possible! We are able to create our wonderful world of food for our bakery using only this flour mixture and it never disappoints in taste or texture. We searched years trying to find and create the best mix of flour that is reminiscent of childhood baked goods we loved. The ratio is perfect and is true to it's name which is wonderful! So thank you to Bob and his staff, our pizza mice are filled with cheese, baked with the 1 to 1 flour and spices, brushed with butter and Parmesan and ready to dunk in marinara for friends and family to enjoy! No matter what our next cooking or baking adventure is, Bob's 1 to 1 is a home run every time!
