Comfortable for steel toes
So far, these boots seem to be durable. They're definitely comfortable for being steel toes, though they are a tad bit heavier than I'm used to. I added some other insoles and I'm very satisfied with them. Definitely worth the price Brahma boots are known for.

Good Looking
These Men's Brahma Vertex Boots are pretty well made, they look good, and the sizing is spot on. A few things that I don't like about them is the overall cheap feel of the materials used. They are steel toe also which is a great feature. The bottoms have a great pattern and seem to be fairly skid resistant, I did put some oil down and slid them through it and they gripped some but nothing exceptional. With water there was no skid at all. The inside is very comfortable when you wear them and it feels like a little extra space up at the toe area which I greatly appreciated. So overall they wouldn't be my first choice in a work boot, but they are a great choice of a value boot. I would recommend these for anyone looking for a descent boot that surely won't break the bank.

    Very Comfortable!
I have been using these boots for work while I am in the field and so far they have exceeded my expectations. They are very comfortable even while standing for a long time, and the padded collar is a nice touch. I really like the design and fitting. They are also slip-resistant and meets the ASTM F2413018 standards which were my job's primary requirements.

    Nice Work Boot.
I really like the Brahama work boot. The boot has a good comfortable feel on your feet. I like the treads they grip very well. The sole is made of a medium hardness material. I like the sole is a softer material; it grips better. The boot is leather, which is nice if you perform hot work. The boot has a smooth toe, which is also good for hot work. The stitching of the boot looks good. The steel toe is a nice added safety feature. The steel toes are not very heavy. The weight of the boot seems to be of a medium weight. I like the eight inch high top. I like the added support it gives my ankles, especially when you are walking on rough construction ground. I like the Brahma boots. I would recommend them to my family and friends and also to you.

A Good buy, at this price.
So ive had these boots now for just under a week so luckily we didnt need to find out well the steel reinforcements protect the toes. Lol but will say they feel solid, and the quality feels really good. Now a days you pay $100 for a running shoe that look like they were put together in a 3rd grade arts and crafts class.. So at the price i think the mens Brahma votex boots are nice. I will say that i think they run a little bit too big. My girls son is a size 9.5 and these boots in an 8 fit him perfectly. That also may be because of the type of boot and design. But walking in them felt comfortable. I would recomend them but its always hard ordering shoes or even clothes online for fear of size issues. Thats the only reason for lack of 5 stars

    Nice Work Boots
These Brahma Vertex Work Boots are very nice. They have a steel toe which is rated to meet the standards for work boots. But more than that these boots are comfortable. The tongue has a nice padded tongue. When I lace these up I don't feel the laces even if I happen to lace them too tight. There is also padding around the top of the boot which also adds comfort. If you happen to work in a garage these have a good sole to help with avoiding slips and falls. These do have a man made upper but that suits me fine as leather usually is more expensive and to me stains easier. I cannot speak to how well these hold up under working conditions as I have only had them for about a month.

    Fit, Form and Function!
MEN'S BRAHMA VERTEX BOOTS are a true fit for the old saying “Fit, Form & Function”. They're a true fit. The size ordered was not too big or too small as is the case with many shoe brands. It's easy to fit your feet in and feels snug without the feeling of pressure after you tighten the shoelaces. Having shoelace hooks instead of eyelets is a very practical characteristic and adds to the convenience when putting the shoes on or taking them off. As far as function, the shoe material is malleable enough to bend with your feet as you crouch but is strong enough to protect your feet while working outdoors or where your feet could be exposed to injury. The shoes are also equipped with steel toe feature for necessary protection while working or camping outdoors. The outsoles are made of solid rubber material to support the wearer's weight and to handle wear and tear. They're sectioned as a tire to allow for water to escape as well as to provide grip and traction while walking. It is also worth mentioning that the outsoles are actually made of two sections. The bottom layer is what comes in contact with the ground and is described above. Another layer adds cushion by absorbing the pressure exerted on the feet while walking. The two layers are seamlessly joined. The insoles seem ordinary though and could use some improvement in material and/or design, but on the bright side, they can be easily removed and replaced with more cushioned ones for added comfort. Finally Form… the Men's Brahma Vertex boots combine the function of working boots with the look of casual dress shoes, especially if worn with pants that would cover the neck section. However, after a few bends, creases were visible on the upper material, but that is expected with shoes made of leather like materials.

    Very comfortable and durable!
have been wearing Brahma boots for years and have always been pleased with their quality and durability. These Brahma Vertex boots didn't disappoint me. They are very comfortable to wear all day on my construction job and the steel toes have done great protecting my toes. The non-slip soles give me good grip when walking on wet floors or oil spills. I wear these boots every day and they have really held up great on my job! I highly recommend them for whatever use you may have for them.

    Good Inexpensive Boots
These Brahma Vertex Steel Toed Boots are surprisingly comfortable and a great value for the money charged. They are designed well and look modern. They are warm yet not uncomfortably so. The padding on the inside is supportive but comfy. They keep out the cold and dampness well. They hold water well right up to the lace lines. They have a sealed tongue and plenty of lace length. The steel toe is solid yet keeps warmer than a lot of other boots I've worn. These are full size work boots, that can be worn outside of work as well of course. I can't speak for the durability as I have only had them a short amount of time. It has rained here often this week and my feet stayed completely dry. I know they would be ok in the snow, even with the steel in the toe. After wearing them they feel as I will have them for a good while. Good Boots for the dough!

    Tough work boots
These are average to above average work boots or possibly hiking boots. Let's start with the obvious. Don't wear these to the airport. They are steel reinforced. And if you're able to just go through the metal detector, you're going to set it off in these. These are boots in every sense of the word, with a lot of support, that goes far above the ankle and have a couple of extra hooks for the long shoestrings, to secure them very well to your foot and leg. The padding inside is average. It's not too little. But it's not overdone. These will be ok for a few hours of use doing heavy activities, like yardwork. or walking around on tough terrain. The bottom of the shoe is nice and chunky with plenty of nonskid tread to walk through wet conditions, across wet boards and foliage. I have no worries my feet are going to get soggy in these. And if there's something sharp or even a snake in the area, I feel well protected. The steel toe does the obvious and protects the front of the foot from falling cinderblock, tools and such. There's a slight strange smell to these boots that will take a while to dissipate. That's my only real negative. And since there's a lot of boot here, along with the steel insert, they're a bit on the heavy side. But if you want something for safety that'll last quite a while, these are a good choice.
