Simple but great learning toy!
I have a special needs nephew who will not engage in playing with certain toys. I know lots of children like toys that light up, but my nephew needs these kinds of toys for play therapy. The drum lights up and plays which catches his attention. He's very drawn to the lights. Just a simple tap on the drum starts the music and lights. It's light enough for him to pick it up and turn it around and inspect all of it. For him it's just a fun toy and for us, we want him to learn how to play and interact with different toys! It's well made and we don't see small pieces that can fall off.

Faulty, came with no batteries
BEWARE Walmart! This makes the 3rd drum like this I've bought for my son who has cerebral palsy . It's his favorite toy. But this specific drum listed, DO NOT BUY. The packaging was fine, it is brand new I guess? BUT the speaker is terrible

    super fun , kinda trippy drum. the lights swirl down inside the drum. it looks really cool and my baby picks it up and puts it to his face lol. hes thoroughly enjoyed this super fun drum.

    Ok Christmas gift
    My 1 year old grandson loves it. When he hits it with his hands it lights up and plays melodies, he gets so excited. It's sturdy, colorful and not very loud. I gave it 4 stars because it is small and can be a little bigger in size.

    Wonderful toy!
    I got this for my son when he was about 6 months old. He absolutely loved the bright lights inside. His facial expression made me think he truly thought it was magic. My son is just over a year old now and he still loves this little drum. Now he is really appreciating the sounds and that he can slap the heck out of it. It's so fun watching him play with it. He obviously enjoys it very much.
