    The key pad lock is a little complicated to program personal code (many steps) however, we're pleased with the lock once we got it programmed. Well built

    I have much experience with lock pads including WiFi/Bluetooth devices. As of date, this is the more sturdy of all previous mentions. I like the simplicity of the programming yet the sound and feel of a sturdy lock. Excellent product, excellent price

    Knock Knock, who's there?
    I used You Tube to help me program and reset. Thanks to You Tube, easy peasy as my 6 year old grandson would say. Oh, and installation was also a breeze, with easy to follow instructions.

    Malfunctioning at 8 months
    Bought one 8 months ago and is now malfunctioning. I cannot lock it by pressing the brink's button like usual and it's beeping constantly. Was restet but didn't last long before starting up again. I ended up just removing the batteries to shut it off. Other than that! It is sleek and very fashionable! I'm happy overall.

    PLEASE READ THIS/PERFECT PURCHASE
    After spending roughly $280.00 on two Kwikset Smart Code locks that malfunctioned within less than 2 years but weren't covered in their "lifetime warranty", I was reluctant to buy Brinks brand. But, I bought my first one about 3 months ago, and was so pleased, that I purchased a second. The locks were easy to install, operate VERY quietly, have a lighted keypad that actually works, come with clear instructions, and offer the same features/finishes as more expensive brands. However, it is imperative that you do not discard your programming directions. I depend greatly on honest, intelligent customer reviews, so I hope my comments help you decide.

    10 Stars! Too easy! Used to replace standard deadbolt. The interior power box is slightly larger, similar to older models, but still has a sleek and attractive design. They do make newer models with smaller oower boxes, FYI. However, i have zero problems with this lock and cannot believe how simple it was to install. 4x AA batteries required but NOT included

    Open just by hitting the Brink key no code needed
    Check your locks me and my grandson came home and he wanted to open the door . I said ok before i could give him the code he hit the Brink key and the door just open . I said wow locked the door and did it again .
