Quick set Clam shell
We are happy with the ease of set up. But very disappointed in the Material of roof top. Apparently the material is not that tough. weve only had ours 1 1/2 and the top has 3 Splits in it. And not from any Branches. For what we paid I would have expected it to have more durable material.

    A faff for short people - but worth it
    As soon as I saw the video with the six-foot bloke, I knew I'd have a harder time of it; I'm not a hair over five feet. Here's the hack: stake down one side before you begin, then start with the wall opposite the staked wall. You just need a little resistance to get the first one to pop out (pushing on the side of the roof as instructed does nothing), then the others follow easily. The top was a bit harder; I could lift the whole thing right off the ground without making it pop open. Just bounce it a bit though, and it will eventually go. Once you find your technique for cajoling this thing open, it's fantastic. I'm an anthropologist who works in a buggy part of the world and I think this is going to be a godsend as a mobile office as long as I don't venture too far from my Jeep - it's portable, but you wouldn't want to hike miles with it. For parents, I think this would work great as a fun toddler HQ for trips to the beach or park as well. It is really sturdy and the bug-proofing is serious. For some reason they sent fewer stakes than the thing can take, but those are easy enough to obtain. For those who like to match their camping gear, the green version is a medium olive with more yellow in it than blue. Altogether this was a great buy.

    For the price its good but lacks acessories.
    As a screen tent its easy to put up and seems very sturdy. We had a small hole pencil size in the door screen that I had to fix. This being said its really tall and nice. It doesnt have a foot print so you will have bugs unless you bring a tarp, also you cant buy a rain fly for the 5 sided model. So it could get wet in a down pour. The wind panels fit fine and are easy to install and work well.

    Excellent quality item and goes up fast and easy! Only weighs 20 pounds and is compact enough to take with us anywhere. The 6' x 6' size of this unit is perfect for 2-4 people.

    A must have for campers!
    Love our CLAM! We love to sit and relax outside our camp and this has become a must have for us especially that we have an baby and a 5 year old who loves to sit outside. It gives us peace of mind knowing we have something to protect us from bugs and mosquitoes. We love the size (9x9 for a family of 4), love the quality and ease of putting it up and putting it away. It is so easy that I can do it just by myself and I can do it in less than a minute or two. I find it a little expensive considering the covers on the sides are not included but for the protection and convenience that this product is providing us, I think it's worth every penny!
