I bought this bike for my wife who needs a workout. I was very surprised by the quality of this bike. This bike does meet all the criteria mentioned. The bike arrives with almost everything assembled. The price is very good. I plan to buy another one for myself next month.

    Great Budget ebike the Hitway bk8
    bought the Hitway bk8 for my wife to ride trails with me, we have only had it a few days but after our first 20 mile ride my wife loves it, plenty of power ,really good brakes and after 20 miles only down to 50% on battery.... ez to put together, buy this bike you will not be sorry...

    Great E bike under $1,000.
    Great bike! Should be advertised for men too. Very comfortable and stable with 5 riding modes. Really like how you can control speed in each mode. No need for gears since motor does the work when you need it. Removable battery nice as well.

    this bike does not go more than 9 miles before the battery dies on a single charge, it does not reach 20 mph with the throttle 18 is the cap, it does not reach 40mph max speed with the peddle assistant. this bike does not do all the description says it will

    The bike was easy to assemble, feels a bit heavy but manageable. I took it out for a ride and it was great but the next day all of a sudden I get a flat! Upon getting it checked, I see that the tube in the rear wheel is at least 20 inches and the wheel is 16. Even if you inflate the tube to the recommended pressure, at some point it will give you trouble because the tube isn't even the size of the tire.

    I've had the bike for 2 weeks. Love it! Well made and easy to operate. I live in a condo so being able to easily bring in and out of the building and store it in my unit was important. I have zero issues with the bike and am extremely happy with my purchase. It takes a little bit to get used to because of the small tires but a couple of trips on it will have you comfortable with it. I bought a folding basket on Walmart and it works perfectly on the bike and doesn't have to be removed if you fold the bike right down. I had a small issue with some damage to the face of the battery indicator which I received the bike but the customer service response from the seller was excellent and I expect the replacement part to arrive today. So in summary, this is a really well made bike at an exceptional price that is well supported by the seller and manufacturer.

    I have an electric scooter that I gave to my kids as a replacement for a HITWAY ebe 1 bike, I use it for my fruit and veggies and errands, great, maybe not long distance, but very comfortable, I have 20 to 25km of autonomy, a little tweaking to the brakes and tuning, a little tighter everywhere at the start, but extra for the intended use. I love it...for its purpose and price.
