Nice desk using as a make up table
Nice desk.. pretty sturdy.. love the hutch that can be moved to either side of the desk and a guy from the desk assembly service came and put it together a couple days later.

Defective
this desk took a longggggg time to come in and when it did the back was scratched and the brackets were missing. The desk itself is nice though. Would be better once i get all my pieces.

    Hutch is very flimsy
    This desk and hutch seemed pretty sturdy initially but after placing several books inside the hutch the entire shelf within the hutch began to bow and sag. Not a super cheap piece of furniture so definitely disappointed with the quality of the hutch. The desk is holding up nicely so far.

    It's not the best, but not the worst.
    First off, when it came to putting the hutch together, we were unable to get the holes to line up properly. My husband had to take it out to the garage and drill different holes and use a different type of nail/screw on the sides for the hutch. It also doesn't line up perfectly where it connects for the L-shape, and there is somewhat of a gap there no matter how you do. It is 100% particle board. It does look very nice, though.

    It is typical particle board but for the price it is satisfactory. Assembly is a challenge but the directions provided made it fairly easy, just had to take time and be patient. It's very heavy once assembled and 3 people minimum will be necessary to place into position to avoid anything breaking. The paper covered faux wood is very thin and care must be taken to avoid scratches and scuffs. Was shipped in 3 boxes and arrived with no damage, surprisingly. My wide office chair barely fits underneath but will work with some manauvering.

    This desk is exactly what I was looking for and the price wasn't bad. It is a lot of parts but if you follow the instructions, it isn't difficult to put together. There were a couple of parts that were missing, but customer service sent them out quickly. I would highly recommend. It turned out perfect.

    Some dings a scratches, but good so far.
    I love this desk so far. I just got it set up last night and it's everything it showed. There were a few dings and scratches in the "wood" that were not from shipping because none of the boxes (3 of them) were damaged. The instruction packets that came with the desk and the hutch were very easy to follow and very thorough. It does take forever to set up, but it's well worth it. I would definitely buy again at the price I got it for.
