Took this griddle to a rally this weekend cooked breakfast for 12, did great. Cooked bacon and sausage, eggs. Cooked below medium. mostly low. Clean up is a breeze. I suggest the carry case. Don't forget to bring the drip tray with, it took me longer to clean that mess than griddle

bad welds on griddle
i bought this flat top griddle after the first use i notice the welds on the diffused plates were coming off and the edge of the plates were lifting up. i contact the seller to see what can be done he replied with i needed to send him pictures i did and that was the last i heard from the seller. i purchased it because i had a party after the second time used i saw the welds had completely broken off on the flat bar and the diffused plates. now i have to look for a welding shop to see if they can fix it at my cost. other than that the griddle is amazing. wont let me post pictures

    Love this cooktop. It makes short work of cooking for the entire family. Heats evenly and the seasoning it comes with makes sure your food doesn't stick. Just make sure the cooktop is level before cooking so the grease drains properly.

    Amazing Griddle, VERY HOT!
    I bought this for a Troop of Trail Life USA and we have now used it a couple times on our Pro90X Camp Chef Stove. We have learned a few lessons I will pass on. Lesson 1: Take the wind block off the stove for more even heat of the griddle (Not as pictured). If you leave it on, the back will get MUCH hotter than the front. Lesson 2: This gets extremely hot! With an infrared thermometer, I measured the griddle at 585 F when all 3 burners were on medium. With all 3 as low as they go, in a no-wind situation, I still got 450-480 across the griddle. It gets very hot, so it will take time to get used to. Lesson 3: If you are going to use the griddle for anything greasy, make sure it is leveled well and buy the grease cup accessory. The griddle comes with a small great cup holder (no cup though) but it is small and round. Camp Chef has a cup that is larger and hooks to the stove, buy it. Lesson 4: The griddle takes only minutes to heat up, but MUCH longer to cool off! Don't expect to finish and put it away for at least an hour, the steel holds heat very well. Overall, this is a great accessory to our stove. We also bought cases to haul everything and keep it in better shape.

    Even heat
    I bought this griddle to upgrade from my single burner griddle. Used it on one camping trip so far and was able to cook for 6 people easily. Fit 5lbs of potatoes 10 pieces of bacon and 6 smaller ham steaks all at once. Really even heat except very outside edges, but I used that to my advantage to put the bacon when it was done while waiting for potatoes to be finished. My only complaint is the black coating wears of pretty fast with metal spatula. Cast iron conditioner is a must to keep your griddle looking good. Small price to pay after investing in a awesome griddle. I own several Camp Chef products and have no serious complaints about any of them. Whenever anything has ever been faulty there customer service is awesome about making things right.

    Perfect heat distribution. Love It !
    Immediately upon receiving this griddle , I put it to the test on a 1 week camping trip. On this trip I was cooking breakfast , lunch and dinner for everyone. Now it was not intended to be that way but after the first couple of meals, I along with my Camp Chef griddle were nominated as the camp kitchen. Burgers, Steaks ,Fries, Eggs, Pancakes, Brauts even Salmon ! All was perfectly cooked and had the added benefit of an easy clean up! Heat is evenly dispersed along the entire griddle just manage the temp for what your cooking and sit back and enjoy. Even the cooking part is fun! The food is fantastic. Camping, Hunting, Fishing, Family outings, Entertaining at home... I will use it every time ! The "test" ??? Yes you guessed it... The Griddle passed with flying colors!

    wonderful and a time saver
    My husband is the cook at our church and this griddle has saved a lot of cook time due to the extra space it provides. The cooking time is cut to half the time since more food items can be added. GREAT!!!

    Awesome...
    I bought this for camping but I couldn't wait to try it so I threw it on my gas stove and tried it out. Note: it hangs out a couple of inches on either side of the stove top. I fired up all 4 burners at less than half...Did an incredible job. I have made breakfast twice on it. First time I did hash browns, onions, bacon and eggs and then threw it all together and covered it with cheese. Second time I did the hash browns, onions, spam, ham, eggs all seperate and there was plenty of room for a meal to feed 6 people! This thing is heavier that you would think. As long as you don't over heat it or use salted butter on it, I think it will last forever.
