Don't regret buying.
Pretty good camera, getting used to its functionality and all of its features. The wifi works great and helps with my needs.
I find myself panicking any time the lighting changes slightly, but it's easy to chase settings when the sun comes and goes.
I wanted something good, but not overly expensive, and this is getting the job done.

Great for beginners, but can be outgrown quickly.
I purchased this as my very first DSLR camera to see if photography would be something that interested me. I never used the different modes and dived straight into manual usage. Now that I have the hang of manual mode (one week in), I feel like I need an upgrade or at least a nicer lens. I recommend this body as an entry level camera and would suggest getting the 50mm x 1.8 (or 1.4 if you can afford it). Eventually, I hope to get the Canon Mark D IV and the 50mm x 1.2 lens but that's simply not in my budget at the moment.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/29/2021An excellent beginner or family camera! This is a great beginner camera. The ability to take great shots in Auto mode makes this one perfect for a family without photography experience. It also has all the bells and whistles you could ask for in a beginner setup of shooting manual. I suggest supplemental lighting source and extra batteries to keep charged up for longer trips. Also, get a sturdy strap that is much more comfortable than the one provided. This camera is not super light and over time its weight will be felt. The Canon strap provided does nothing to help with the weight comfortably. Too short and too narrow of a strap.Christina

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/22/2021EOS Rebel T7 Bundle for BeginnersThis bundle is great, it does not include the cord that connects to your computer so that must be bought separately. Other than that this bundle was a great buy!JMon

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/17/2019Say Tacos! It's definitely a really nice camera. It's my first “professional” camera and I've been having a blast with it, much to the annoyance of my family and friends.Charbee

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/08/2019Takes nice picsI'm still trying to figure out how to use it, but it seems pretty good. I think at this point auto shooting works best for me. Manual is pretty hard to remember the millions of details. The only thing I don't really like so far is the door to the as card and battery isn't that easy to open.Granny Annie
