Great chair all around!!!
Great chairs! I wanted something different than another boring bag type chair that pushes your legs together when you sit. I was looking for an old school type folder. This chair hits that nail on the head! Great all around. I've used it for a whole little league season of watching my son's play baseball, and recently I took them camping for 8 days. Around the fire, backpack strapped them to the beach etc (very handy feature) by the way. They are a little on the low side but the pitch of the upright position is just right and the adjustability of the recliner is awesome. For perspective, I'm 6'6" 245lbs. The chair is plenty strong, wide enough and I really like the high back, my shoulders hit just below the top bar.... Highly recommended....lame cup holder though lol

Poorly designed
I liked that it was a tall and sturdy chair, BUT, its pretty heavy to carry in the sand, the wooden arms are way too short and narrow, and I kept sliding toward the edge of the seat?! I would not buy another one. Were using it in our backyard for company.

    Nice Chairs for a Fair Price
    The quality of these chairs was excellent and they were quite comfortable as well. They look as if they will take the wear and tear. The price was fair. The fact that you can carry them like a backpack was an added bonus.

    Too many disappointments
    Likes: Heavy weight-sturdy feel, canvas attached on all 4 sides, storage pouch is a plus. Dislikes: Not ideal for "big man" (250 lbs) due to, narrow feel, tubing encroaches, "headrest" highest position is middle of shoulders, cup holder barely fits something soda can size definitely not for cups or travel mugs, upright position is slightly reclined. Time will tell how sturdy it really is.

    Great inexpensive taller chairs
    These chairs are great! This is the third one I've purchased to go with the 2 I got last year that are still in great shape. After years of buying beach chairs that were too low, too expensive, and broke the same year of purchase, I'm so glad I found these. They are well made and I would definitely purchase again.

    Great height/width! Not super comfy.
    Love the height and width of the chair! Much better for those of larger size or with aching joints. Kind of heavy for a beach chair. Im returning the chairs as I dont like where the aluminum hits me at the leg and neck. I guess one could pad it if everything else met the mark.

    helpful for those with vertigo
    So far so good. This was bought for my beach bum mother-in-law with vertigo. Beach chairs that are low to the ground cause her to get dizzy when rising out of them. So far this one has been wonderful in aiding her in that issue with its taller height and pillow. She has already used this chair a bunch of times and said it exactly what she needed for this summer.

    Disappointed due to product defect.
    Somehow this chair arrived with a distorted leg.The item might have been mishandled during shipping resulting in the defect. However I decided to keep it because even though the legs were not level with the ground (wobbled) a bit; my thought was it would work in the sand.
