Stunning, classic timepiece.
TL;DR: This is one fantastic watch. Don't even hesitate. When I say I agonized over which watch to choose to celebrate a recent milestone, I do mean agonized. I knew it was going to be Citizen, but I chose this specific piece not only because it looked appropriate for daily wear, but also because it looked classic and rugged enough to me that I could conceivably wear it daily for the next five to ten years. This watch did NOT. DISAPPOINT. I was so worried that reality wouldn't live up to expectation, but my expectations were immediately surpassed. From the matte face to the solid clasp to the perfectly sized case, Paradigm is everything I'd hoped it would be. I was expecting the watch would need some time in the light before I could start using it, but it arrived ready to go - all it needed was a quick time/date adjustment (both of which were very intuitive and straightforward to accomplish- I didn't need to look up directions). I elected to have the watch sized before being sent to me, and Citizen's watch sizing tool resulted in a perfect fit. I'll include a photo for perspective of what this watch looks like sized to 5 3/4. I'm in my mid 30s and I have no trouble seeing the date or time, in spite of the watch being somewhat smaller than a lot of pieces that seem to be popular right now. If I were in the slightest bit farsighted, the date might be challenging. As far as I'm concerned, however, this is the most perfect watch I've ever owned. I have close to ten watches with dead batteries that I just don't have the time or inclination to deal with, and it's such a relief to know that this exquisite piece spares me that hassle altogether.

    Great features
    I bought this watch because I liked the fact that I didn't have to replace the battery often. But it is also comfortable and looks good. It is easy to read and has the date on it too.

    Gorgeous!
    I bought this to wear daily as I work in the school system. I never change back to my more expensive watch on the weekends anymore. This watch is practical, elegant but casual. It is perfect for daily wear!!

    Bought this watch because it was one of a very few Citizens that comes in his and hers with a smaller watch face on the mans. Anniversary gift. Pretty, nice shape, nice silver color. Wish it was more water resistant.
