Smell reminds me of urinal deodorizers
Got a small bottle to sample it. Unfortunately, this strongly reminds me of the small of those urinal deodorizer pucks and it's really off putting. Of course YMMV.

    Old barber shop after shave. If your a little old school you can't beat this for the price. However the original Clubman after shave is a must buy.

    Includes Musky Odor in Recent Years
    I used to really love this after shave lotion decades ago, but the formula seems to have changed in recent years. It's no longer purely floral, it has some kind of musky odor as well. At least there's still Clubman, which I like, but I miss Lilac Vegetal.

    Old Classic Lilac Vegital Is Missed
    My father used Lilac Vegital back in the 60's and 70's. I did as well in the 70's and early 80's and then the scent changed. I was still good but never was like the old again. The old scent was pure Lilac. Incredible. The new scent added something else and changed it forever. Later I switched to Clubman. I miss the old Lilac Vegital.

    Classic Stuff.
    My wife LOVES this ..and I like it too. Not like a modern cologne.You can use it as a body splash after showering. I do and I can see why Empereror Napoleon III's Hungarian Cavalry used this stuff.
