Totally recommend this product, saved us during the heat wave. Easy to set up has great cooling capacity.

Not so sure about this one...
The first thing that I did, when I got it out of the box, was to plug it in to test it. Air conditioner came right on without me pressing the power button. Strange, but I didn't think too much of it. I turned it off and unplugged it and continued with the installation.
Once I got everything unpacked and set up, I plugged it in again and hit the power button - and nothing. Air conditioner didn't work.
I read the troubleshooting guide and followed the suggestions to no avail. Customer service for the manufacturer was virtually non-existent (only open from 8 - 5 weekdays and those are the hours I'm at work).
So I had to pack this whole thing back up and bring it back to the store. My refund still hasn't hit my account so I haven't been able to purchase a replacement yet and it's HOT right now.
Very disappointing and so far it's been nothing but a waste of time.

I was having an issue of it overheatimg abd needing to shut off too often. But everything else on unit seemed seamless and smooth operation. Finally, i gave up on a/c usuage abd removed hose and found the foam window kit nested inside air outtake tube for shipping. I had failed to inspect tube for obstructions like instructions had told me to. Problem solved, i'm a happy camper now.Tara

It worked okay for a couple months and then I stored it as the manual suggests during winter. I brought it out for summer and it was incredibly loud and only putting out hot air. Walmart said it's not their problem so I had to contact kms directly. The manual says 1 year limited warranty, but kms said it was a mistake and should have been 6 months. I was never notified of this mistake. Either way they offered no help with fixing the AC. They couldn't pinpoint the issue and had no recommendations for where to look. They also said it they felt totally fine selling products that will last less then a year and offering no help fixing them. Don't waste your money on their bad products.Olivia

The Turbo function is a total waste of time my. My room is 17x20 and after 4 hours with windows closed and door closed it's still NOT cool. I HATE this unit!KilDiKat

Two years ago we went back and bought to "other brand" that were horrible. We learned quickly that Cool Living is the way to go. So this year as we were buying gifts, I hunted out Cool Living again! What a nice find to find them at Walmart on sale!! This is GREAT! Cools quickly, blows with force, and is quiet. I'm very glad to be using Cool Living and having it delivered to our home was a great decision! No worrying about tipping it or how to get it into the car! I am very very pleased with this purchase.
