Missing Gems
Daughter got this for her birthday, she enjoyed the activity but we were missing both the pink and yellow gems which made most of the stickers impossible to complete correctly. It's a shame because otherwise I like the project but I would never risk getting her another with the quality control

    My kids, age 7 and 5, absolutely loved this for our rainy day activity. Comes with one "pen" to put gems on, so my kids had to take turns. I'll be buying another kit for a second "pen."

    Quick fun projects that need minimal supervision
    My 6 year old son loves unicorns and rainbows so he was in crafting heaven with this set. I loved it as well because he could do the projects on his own with minimal help from an adult. I did help get out the gems at times and we used that time to practice our counting, addition and subtraction (for example “if we need 14 pinks and we have 5 on the tray how many more do we need?”) So not only was this a crafting project but we were able to use our math skills as well. It was a really fun project and great for younger kids. It came with a really nice selection of metallic stickers as well as two large sun catchers. The smaller stickers took very little time so one or two stickers make for an easy, fast craft project with minimal cleanup after. Both the stickers and the gems seem to be great quality but we have had a few gems fall off. I wish the preapplied glue spots on the stickers had a stronger adhesive. The sun catchers are sticky all over instead of dots like the stickers so I do worry the adhesive will attract dust and look dingy after a while. Overall, great easy project for younger kids and a really good introduction into diamond painting.

    My 9 yr old granddaughter is having a great time doing this kit. I love that it comes with the stylus and wax to pick up and place gems. (She's been doing it for hours over a two day period.)

    My kids love it!!
    The kids were occupied in a healthy way with this creative diamond painting kit. It stimulates their artsy side and instills in them some very important life skills. I noticed the smiles on their faces as they learnt to focus and use precision with the stylus and placement of the gems. This is a project kit that parents, grandparents, kids, and teens can all enjoy. We all love it!

    Great for kids who love sparkly things and mosaics
    I have a kid who loves sticker mosaics but has worked through all the ones I could find. This was the perfect next level. One of the highlights for me was watching my newly minted 6 year old methodically teach their twin sibling how to apply gems and make their own!
