My grandmother always used this in her cookie dough instead of butter or margarine and everyone loved her cookies, so I have been doing the same since I first learned to bake cookies.

It's not buttery
It doesn't taste like butter, it's just yellow. I had the Great Value cheap stuff and compared, no difference. Leave it to Crisco to lie to us.

    Badly dented Can
    This can was badly dented. I have to returned this item. It is dented at the rim and the shortening is showing. This is bad!

    Butter flavors Crisco is amazing for preparing pan for corn bread or for biscuits. Good for scrambling eggs and other things. I make it account to always have it on hand.

    Hey, I've put Crisco Butter Flavor Shortening on food when don't have butter. That tells you how buttery (no animal fat) it is. It's the best for frying

    The cookies are great, the shipping was horrible.
    The cookies were great. The packing was terrible. Whoever shipped them threw the two tins of these expensive, hard to find cookies into a box, absolutely no padding, like not even a sheet of newpaper and the tins arrived banged up with half of them broken. The product was great, the shipping was horrible.
