Warm!!
Being summer this was a.rough one to test out but we gave it a.shot..i took a air and my husband put one on...pretty warm!! But no sweat!!! My feet are constantly cold in the winter but I'm super picky about my socks. Wool is usually to scratchy for me but these are pretty nice and I can wait to give them a real try once it cools down

Don't Buy...Cheap!
Felt good when I put them on, but after wearing just twice they started to wear through in the heal. Doubt they are really 80% wool.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/11/2022You get what you pay for, are they wool>?The size was good, they are loosely woven, my feet still sweat in these, so for 80% wool that is super weird. I'm curious what is the deal, but they just don't feel like smart wool or darn tough sock is super great. I guess you get what you pay for. These will not work for what I bought them for, working outside in work boots. Just to slippery feeling.nevestcefrep

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/20/2022Good socks, good priceI've worn these socks in sub-freezing temperatures down to about 10 degrees F, and my toes didn't get cold. Merino wool is hard to beat for dealing with winter weather.HANS

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/26/2021You get what you pay for.Keep in mind these socks cost half or less as much as some of the more common names in wool socks. Getting what you pay for is not a bad thing as long as you know that going in. These are not as dense as more expensive socks. The probably will not keep your feet warm below freezing. They are a decent mild or warm weather wool sock. They do keep my feet cool when used as a work sock in the summer. They are comfortable and fill a boot well due to the piling inside them that is thick but does flatten down and thin out when worn. I wouldn't call it fleece like the description, it's looped threads that have been softened.Thisismyrealnamehaha

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/22/2021Bring on the snowThese are definitely cold weather socks. They are thick, soft but not heavy. I had him try them for fit.he wears a size 12 shoe and these fir snuggly but not tight. Merino wool is the best for maintaining heat. These will be great for skiing and other winter activities. Keeping your feet warm and dry is imperative in the cold. These socks are perfect for that purpose.Cookie

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/15/2021Very Nice QualityI picked these up for a trip to N.C. in October. Living in So. Fla. does not require a drawer full of thermal socks. But I do spend a lot of time in the N.C. mountains so, over the years, I have purchased more than a few pairs from different manufacturers. The look and feel of these socks is the same, or better, than the ones I have at our second home in N.C. Nicely stitched, thick enough, and the price was well below some of the better known brands I have purchased in the past. Now, until you wash clothes a dozen times it is kind of hard to really judge quality. But my initial impression is that I will see my moneys worth of wear from these three pairs.fishingfool150

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/14/2021Very comfortableExcited for more hiking and camping trips in the fall/winter. I have a feeling these socks will keep me a lot warmer than the others I have. They are soft and comfy, yet thick. They have moisture wicking capabilities and could tell they would help cushion my foot in my boots. So excited for a hike!Kcorder79
