Great machine for a good price.
I had the EC220CD for 9 years and I loved it, so I decided to buy the newer version once the EC220CD died. There are some improvements, especially with the water container being built in (finally no leaks when you clean under), but I must say I miss the option to regulate the pressure of the milk frother. I also don't like how the portafilters clip into the holder. Those clips definitely won't last, but I can still use my old holder. I would definitely buy again!

It works - Arrived with broken part
It works great and makes a delicious coffee and latte. However, the plastic located next to the water tank arrived broken and the interior parts are uncovered, so I need to be careful not to spill any liquid inside.

    Worth The Investment ?
    Amazing product for the price. I hope in the future to be able to try more Delonghi products! I have been making amazing espresso with this machine. I'm really looking into saving money up for an upgrade from this machine already. I have not tried any other espresso machine and with this being the first one I bought it was easy to use and made me feel like I was a professional barista. If I'm ever able to try any other Delonghi products I will definitely leave a review and I have recommended this product to 4-5 close friends and family because of its user friendly set up and quality.

    A nice step up from the smaller model
    This is a step up from the smaller model which I've owned for years (and replace every 2-3 years). Makes better coffee and froth, doesn't vibrate the cup off the tray, or continue to drip after transitioning to steam. Only complaint is that the espresso filter is nearly impossible to get out of the holder without prying it out with a knife since it's such a tight fit, so basically I just rinse it in place and occasionally pry it out. Overall I'm very happy since it's a great value and easy to use.

    An awesome espresso machine!
    This DeLonghi espresso machine works amazing. It does take some practice. But once you get comfortable with, it is awesome. Espresso after espresso after espresso turn out very consistent. I must say that after 25 years of coffee shot making experience, I do know a good shot of coffee. And this machine will turn out consistently awesome coffee shots. Just buy it, and enjoy your espressos for a fraction of the cost of stopping at the espresso stand. After you make yourself, your wife, and your friends a couple of espressos, it will have more than paid for itself. For me, it paid for itself by the end of the first week after getting it.

    Great coffee espresso!
    I bought it a month ago and I am very happy. I changed different kinds of coffees though for having the right mousse and I can recommend :Lavazza crema e gusto. I haven't had the same result with the cappuccino but I bought it for the coffee. Great choice!

    Small, Simple and perfect small Espresso Machine
    I have previously had an similar krups espresso maker, which is about 8 years old. I received this 2 weeks ago, and I am loving it! Every morning now, I wake up, head down to the kitchen and make myself a Cappuccino or Americano, it is so quick and easy. The Things I like about this espresso machine: 1. Simple to use 2. Heats up quickly 3. Powerful Pump, the espresso comes out fast and perfect. 4. Steamer, fast, and makes the milk nice and frothy 5. Cleanup, i like how easy it is to clean this after use. I would recommend this for anyone that wants a simple, easy espresso maker for 1 to 3 cups of coffee, I had a group of 8 around for breakfast and it took a while to get everyone their coffee.

    The Best Part of Waking Up is My Expresso Machine
    I bought this a while ago and I am so glad I did.Keep in mind for my review that I have never owned an expresso and cappachino machine,before,so there might be some things I might say on here that would not apply to the average person that owns one.I really love the way it works.The expresso came out fast and easy and I can control how much I want in my cup,by turning the knob on the front to the on position.The If I want froth,then I just have to put a cup on the side if I do not want the froth directly put in my cup,and turn the nozzle to the direction my cup is in and turn the knob on the side,all the way to the left.Both my expressos and cappachinos,were delicious. I had to use a small plastic cup to make them cause I did not have any small enough glasses.The one thing that was hard was turning the handle in the machine to put it in place ,so I could put my cup underneath to make my expresso,and also cleaning the handle.I bought the brick of expresso instead of the pods.Maybe that is why it was harder to clean.I do not know.I will find out,next time.Other than that,I love my DeLong Stilosa Expresso and cappachino maker.

    Future Espresson Snob in the Making
    So I did a lot of research on how to successfully work this thing before leaving this review. I wanted to make sure I was fair with my assessment. I would definitely recommend the same course of action for anyone else his completely unaware of how these things work. Anyway... this is such an incredible machine. It's very user friendly and the upkeep is minimal. It's the perfect size (smaller than a keurig) which means it doesn't take up too much counter space. It doesn't take very long to heat up, something I really appreciate. Perfect for a beginner!
