solid bike for the price
It's a solid bike, especially for the price. I really like the brake handles that are easier to grip. That's a good safety feature. I would have liked it more if it had an aluminum frame, but for the discounted price I couldn't ask for more.

    Missing part
    the bike arrived on time and was easy to assemble however it did not include a kick stand. how are you supposed to stand it up?

    Great Kid's First Mountain Bike
    This was the easiest assembly for any bike I have put together. It comes almost completely assembled in the box. Put on the front tire easily with quick-release, screw in pedals (left pedal is screwed in counter-clockwise), add the derailleur cage, adjust the seat height and off and riding. Looks great and sturdy. Great for young kid's first mountain bike.

    It's not a single delivery mistake. The bicycle can't be pushed away in the box, so I can only use my strength to go to the neighbor's house and move it home. What should we do if our 70-year-olds fall over? The delivery is irresponsible for the work. … ......... Hope it doesn't happen again.

    you should know the quality of the decathlon kids rock rider is not the same as the adult Rock Rider. the adult bike is an aluminum frame very professional bicycle where the one for kids is more like the ones that you would typically find in the toy section at Walmart also the online description says that it has a light it does not come with a light. it is a steel frame heavy bike very similar like I said to those that you would find in the toy section at the Walmart store. no front suspension either the bike is hardtail unlike the adult version of the rock rider. again the adult version is very professional the kid version is not.

    I should have known that the price was too good to be true. I had to YouTube directions to put it together but found that there was no spring or bolt for the quick release on the front tire. I ordered a new one from Amazon, put the bike together, and two hours later the back tire was completely flat. So now I have to order a new inner tube and a kick stand one top of it since this bike doesn't come with one. I should have gotten a more expensive bike and saved myself a lot of trouble. I would have returned it if there was a Walmart close by or if it wouldnt have been even more expensive to ship it back. Terrible purchase.

    the package arrived earlier that the tracking showed the delivery guy didn't even ring the doorbell i just happened to go outside and seen it the box was open and the parts was all over the place falling out the bike is okay but its not for a teenage more like a small kid around 8-9 year old no use for my 17 yr old son

    Love it but shorter than typical 24 inch bikes
    This is a well build bike, simple with 6 speed gear only. However, it do NOT has front suspension, which makes the front too short for my 10 years old (the suspension is 6inch in height, which makes other bikes with front suspention useable for the 10 years old). Due to the smaller size than typical, I will have to return it even though I liked its build quality.
