It's Possible to Have Fur-Babies AND Clean Floors!
I did not know exactly what to expect with the Dirt Devil Power Max Pet Upright Vacuum UD70167P. I have heard all the promises before on other vacuums. I must say, I am very happy with how it performs. This is a lightweight vacuum that is very easy to maneuver on all types of floors; from tile to carpet. It is also a breeze to operate. The Dirt Devil Power Max Pet Upright Vacuum came fully assembled. I just needed to secure the hose in place. It has a toe release to pull the handle back and a toe release to power up. The Pet Vacuum comes with the 2-in-1 Combo Tool. Use the Crevice Tool for baseboards and corners and then just switch it to the Dusting Brush for your furniture, lamps, blinds, etc. I really like the TurboClaw Pet Hair Tool. It definitely attracts and grabs the pet hair. I have used this on our upholstered chairs and drapes. The extension wand gives a 10 foot cleaning reach. Now this is one of my favorite parts. The entire Dirt Cup assembly is rinsable. Yes, even the rinsable filter inside the cup. You can rinse the exhaust filter too. Just let all the pieces air at least 24 hours before you use them again. The bonus to all this is the Endura Advanced Performance filter. This provides powerful, no loss of suction for your Pet Vacuum. I have had no problems with this Dirt Devil Pet Vacuum and it has performed exactly as it said it would. I hope to be using this vacuum for a long time to come.

Do not buy!!! Will not last
This vacuum is NOT pets. I have cats and simple cat hair clogs the hoses. I empty the bag less camber after each room and still it can not handle it. I have had to take apart numerous times to try and unclog the hoses but it never stays unclogged for long. I've only had the vacuum a year now . Now it is overheating and blowing air out instead of sucking dirt and pet hair in. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. it may seem like a deal for the price but now I am being forced to yet again buy another vacuum.

    First thing the delivery driver kept coming while I was at work. I was home today finally got my vacuum cleaner open the box and see that it's been used…. I can't even take it to the store to exchange it…. My last time ordering or shopping at Walmart

    Cheaply made. according hose unglued and broke right out of the handle; not fixable. Fairly good suction prior to that. Machine was only in use a few months. Would Not recommend.

    Amazing!
    Absolutely amazing! I have a husky and she sheds like crazy. This vacuum gets down so deep into the carpet and picks up every single hair. As everyone knows, dog hair sticks and is very noticeable on black. After I was done vacuuming,I rolled black socks and a black T-shirt over my carpet... No hair!! Anyone who has a pet should definitely purchase this vacuum.You wont be disappointed!

    I've had a few dirt devils over the years and a few top end vacuums as well. This functions just as well as any other typical vacuum out there on the market. It does its job well for all my needs. Carpet in a trafficked area with dogs of three different hair types and lengths, including all the adult females in the house. That's a lot of hair you don't realize. This has a great tool to get in really set in dirt and loosen up hair in those high traffic areas. The "turbo claw" tool included with this vacuum has a row of teeth like hooks on the ends that can scratch and loosen up dirt and hair from high traffic areas so your vacuum can suck it away. Suction alone can't grasp those old set in patches. These hooks were the perfect touch for my carpets.

    You get what you pay for
    First let me say i dont have carpet so i use the vacuum on the "Hard Floor" setting so as far as getting stuff off my hardwood floors it has no issues. The suction is decent and the "Dirt Cup" as they call it is large and holds alot but thats about all i have good to say about it. The "Turbo Claw" (the handheld couch cleaning tool) jams with the littlest thing and jams up with dog hair. How it works it sucks air past a, in an easy way to describe it fan, which turns the brush but that means it sucks everything past the "fan" which then jams it up. i pretty much just tossed that part in the trash. Also the mount for the turbo claw is put in the worst place. if you pull out the handle to use as an extender you have to remove the turbo claw and the mount from the handle. Onto the main Brush part. It spins all the time, there is no way to turn this off so if you want to just use it as a hand held it will still eat any cords that go near it and to get the vacuum to lock in the upright position you have to push it pretty hard which shoves the brush into the floor. The corner nozzle piece holder isnt the best and tends to fall off. Onto the worse part, The hose seems to be designed to fail, if you have it hooked into the handle to provide suction to the main brush it kind of kinks it and presses a part of the connector into the thin plastic hose (see picture). This just seems like they designed the hose to fail and tear which makes the vacuum useless. Most of the vacuums ive had the hose always seems to be the thing that kills it in the end and it seems like this one will be the same. in general it just seems like poor quality but for the price it is expected.

    great cleaning
    I would have liked more time to review this cleaner. Time to see how it holds up over the long run, however now, after less than a month of ownership I find it to be sturdy, very efficient and lightweight and maneuverable enough as to not be annoying for a 70 plus year old woman. Nothing to the set up. Just insert the wand and plug in. The motor sounds powerful . Cleaning the vac is self explanatory and there were even instructions for changing the belt if necessary, which is something unusual. The actual cleaning ability is great. I am very well pleased with that and the vacuum over all. I haven't actually used the tools as yet, but the availability of those is a plus, most especially the turbo tool which looks like it will handle a great deal of debris as compared to the general brushes. I own another vacuum that I use in other areas of my home, such as the sunroom. This vac will get a good workout as I own an active 45 lb dog who is most curious about this vac already. I requested to be able to review this vac through the spark review program especially for the special ability with pet hair and I am not fat all disappointed and would recommend this to pet owners as well as others

    Best vacuum for pet debris.
    This is a Dirt Devil Power Max Pet Bag less upright vacuum. This vacuum features powerful no lose of suction, easily removing pet hair, dirt and debris from both floors and furniture. Odor trapping carbon filter minimizes pet odors. The turbo claw attachment attracts and grabs pet hair on upholstery and stairs. I decided to try this on my couch, under the cushions. My dog sometimes lays there and loses hair, and dry dog food. I used the 10 ft. cleaning tool to vacuum under the cushions. This is the best vacuum i've ever used on pet hair and debris. All the hair and dry dog food was picked up. I kept checking to see if it would lose suction as the cup filled up, it never lost any suction. This would be a great vacuum for anyone but especially pet owners.I really love this vacuum.
