VERY Welcoming
COLD ! and More COLD delivery !! Awesome :) Set up after reading the instructions was easy and I love, I believe, the 4 rollers underneath to move around my carpeted floor. Thankful that my "old" unit that discharged through a casement swing out window, as the previous plexiglass placement allowed for the "new" installation of the discharge plate using some double sided tape. I also used a aluminum political campaign sign post (slightly modified) to hold up the discharge tube (without a drop/drip) in between the a/c and my discharge window. This DuraComfort 12,000 btu after a minute or two in its startup, performed GREAT ! It really provided cold air quickly and to my satisfaction. The noise level on High was acceptable. Very HAPPY that this unit is now located in my Country Home!

Not for my applicaiton
not for my applicaiton - was trying to cool a one car garage - it could barely keep up with the Texas heat - it is loud - and my bill went up 33% that week I was using it - mind you I have central A/C for the rest of the house. It is about the size of R2D2 -

    A great air conditioner for the price!
    I am amazed how well this air conditioner performs. I was expecting cool air to be felt in our family room area for a little releaf from the heat , but I set it at 75 degrees and my central air at 78 degrees and the central air has not been coming on. It is 98 outside right now and the indoor temperature is remaining at 76-77. I highly recommend this air conditioner. I might get a second one when we hit our triple digit weather coming up.

    I only have been using it for approx. 2 weeks and its working well keeping cool a 700 sq ft area. I purchased this to replace my window unit as it was over 10 yrs old and taking it in and out of the window was becoming a burden. Does take up more space than the window unit but much easier to handle. Hope it lasts as long as my window unit did.

    Perfect AC Unit!
    I needed an extra AC unit for my bedroom, and this is perfect! It's not loud, I can control it from my phone even while I am away. The AC even has a night mode to shut off the blue lights on the control panel to help keep your room darker. I have very tall sliding windows in my apartment, and it fits perfectly.

    Seems to be as described. Puts out cold air and cools down the living room and kitchen area, so no complaints there. I also use a fan to circulate the cool air. I live in a two bedroom apartment, for reference. It is heavy so glad it is on wheels. Window kit is solid but would be better if the panels where the slider type for the length adjustment instead of using screws. It may be quieter than others, I don't know since never having this type of AC before. You have to turn up the TV volume, but it's better then being hot. Have two window AC units for the bedrooms and only the Dreo is truly quiet, just a little fan noise. Living in the Puget Sound area of WA means only having temps in the 80s to 90s occasionally during the summer so don't have to run AC a lot here. I would not like to listen to this or any AC unit on a daily basis for an extended period of time. Bought an extended warranty because I don't know how long lasting this unit is. When the manufacture warranty expires in a year, it makes a person wonder how confident they are it will still be working in year two or three. Haven't had it long enough to give it more than an okay rating.

    Bought this for my basement studio and my place is big and it does the job really well. Not loud or anything. The tube in the back throws out the hot air through the window. And their is a little twist tube that hold the water and you just gotta empt it out every once in a while

    Love this unit! Setup was easy for my son and the air is very cool! We had a 10,000 btu window unit that didn't even come close to the way this portable AC unit. It shuts off when it reaches the temperature set and turns back on when the temperature rises.
