Good heater....bad gas line design!
Purchased this heater new and also bought a new propane tank at the same time in the same store. Imagine my surprise when I unpacked the heater from the box and discovered the LP connection on the heater is no longer compatible with the current standard for propane connections. Had to spend another $35 to buy a new propane gas line with the current connection standard to use with my new propane tank.

    Worth every dime.
    We have a gym set-up in our garage and it gets COLD in the winter months and nobody wants to work out in the cold! We ran a line from our propane heater hook-up to this heater and it is a game changer. Our garage will be warmer than the interior of our house with this on full blast for just a few minutes. The shipping was faster than expected, which we really appreciated because apparently all of the big box home improvement stores don't sell heaters in December and January. Awesome product, awesome experience with JET.

    Lots of heat!
    This works really well, would've given 5 stars if it had automatic temp control. I would guess about a 10 hour run time on a 20lb propane tank at the high setting. Lasts about the same as my 125000 but kerosene salamander, only a lot quieter, and a lot less oder. The smaller unit would be enough for a standard garage.

    I have a 4 car garage that is extended on one side, making it almost a 6 car size. The garage is fully drywalled, but not insulated. In less than 20 mins, my work area in the extension is plenty warm & i never run it on high, (too noisy). The entire garage will heat up enough for me to for me to glue-up my woodworking & do staining/finishing work, even when it is below freezing out. However, the heater does eat up some propane. Noise & efficiency are the only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. Price is very good, 40 something cheaper than big box hardware store.

    Best Dam Heater Ever!!
    I needed a heater for my uninsulated garage because my previous one just couldn't keep it warm. First let me tell you this thing will put out some heat and sounds like a jet engine ready for takeoff . Now it does have a vve on the side to control the flow so it doesn't get to hot or loud. I am currently using 2x 20lbs tanks to feed this beast and I will be looking at getting a 100 lb tanks soon. It will run on the small 20 lb tank but it will start to for frost on the outside of the tank because of the size of the tank, the pressure starts to slow down because of the frost so I just go over to the tank and shake it a little and then she gets going again. This heater is making my life working in my shop so much more enjoyable. The heater doesn't get the temp up to mid 70s but more like high 50s if it's 35 outside.

    Great heat and fast.
    I have a motorcycle shop and the weather hear in the North East has been very cold but it is no match for this heater. The shop goes from 35 to 70 in ten minutes.

    Worked Great for a period, Not so much now.
    I bought this heater at the end of the winter last year and used it several times and it worked great. I have used it multiple times this year without any problems. But now I can only get it to ignite. It will not allow me to turn the knob to keep it lit. Great heater when it works but just a hunk of tin when it doesn't.

    So easy to use, no set up, just get the heat going
    I have had one for over 10 years and worked fine until the regulator finally went. This new one has better features and went right to work at once in my shop. Love it.
