I've ordered these before. Loved them so bought them at a lower price through Walmart. They are beautiful and brilliant.

beads advertised as glass are plastic - big LIE
These crystal glass beads are plastic. I can't stand people or businesses that lie. Obviously they know that their product is cheap and inadequate, or they would feel the need to lie.

    The beads are fine, at least the ones that made it to me. They were packed so poorly that less than half of them actually made it. the rest I presume are scattered all over the East Coast. The oversized shipping box was not sealed, leaving large gaps at the bottom that the beads could fall out of. The top of the box was also just taped on the center seam and it was almost completely split open. There were a few air bags inside, most of them un-inflated and just placed on top so the bead box could freely rattle and crash around in the box, which it apparently did. The box was enclosed in a ripped plastic bag, which apparently was already partially ripped prior to shipping because it already had extra tape on it. The sub-standard packaging finished off the plastic bag as the box ricocheted around the shipping box. The plastic container the beads were supposed to be in looks like a pill-sorter case, where an entire row of lids is attached together and can easily come off the top of the box. Not surprisingly most of the lids did, setting the majority of the beads free where they escaped the ripped plastic, easily outwitted the air bags, and had a wild party in the shipping box before dropping out at random locations along the entire delivery path. The newly freed beads then presumably became slip hazards for people who unwitting stepped on them and twisted their ankle or became choke hazards for wild creatures and pets. It would have been nice if someone with half a brain had actually used that half brain while 'packaging' this order.
