easier on the hands
They have a great dynamic range for my acoustic and have held up great. My favorite guitar sounds best with these strings. Every other brand sounds dead. It's a fact these strings are easier on the hands to play. I find that I press harder with every other brand trying to get a solid sound. These stings work to your advantage. It is actually easier to play them. I would imagine they would make any guitar sound better.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/19/2020Like a new guitarThese strings play great and sound great but they need to mark each string either by string name or gauge to avoid confusion with the low E and B string. A color marking on each string would help. Love the pick that came with them.william

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/02/2020ZagerThese really are great strings... period. There are other companies that have slacked off in the past years, but Zager continues to make good stuff. And every time I "stray" it's the same story... I wished I had bought ZagersDavid

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/13/2016I'm impressed by these stringsWith this gauge, you get the booming, bluegrassy bottom (although nicely balanced overall) but with a bit more "play" in the strings--therefore, lead runs are a bit easier, less "stiff," especially high up on the neck. I would recommend them to anyone who finds mediums too stiff and lights too quiet. The best of both worlds. Not many people are hip to these strings yet, but it is well worth seeking them out. And they last. Two weeks so far, and they sound as good as when I put them on. (Really digging the pick included too!)Thomas

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/31/2016my guys love these zager stringsI bought these for my son to try because he was complaining about sore fingers while learning guitar last spring, so I did some research and found Zager. he ended up only wanting zager strings on his guitars from then on. now my husband put them on his guitar too, more expensive than Sam's cheaper guitar, and he actually likes the sound as well! i thought that was great and so i'd pass along a nice review. these strings are a quality product to give a try if you are looking for a good deal. fresh strings are the best feeling. sincerely, KarenKaren

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/23/2016Easy playing strings!Picked these to try something new and have heard of Zager guitars being great too. Easier on the fingers than the Martin strings I had on my guitars, and sounds just as good if not better... Easier feeling Priced well Long lifeWPaul

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/18/2016Soft to play and clean crisp toneMy feedback on the Zager Easy Play strings is that I could feel the difference right away compared to other acoustic strings that have been around for a long time, at a higher price point. These are just perfect. They feel easier and the gauges are perfect. Sweet sounding and they last! Lower grade cheap strings are shipped in simple paper envelopes and allow the metals inside to oxidize just while sitting on the shelf at the warehouse, store or while in your case. On the other hand, expensive hand made strings, like DRs or J Pierce, are wrapped way too tightly, thus, have too much mass, so your guitar's intonation and rod will probably need to be readjusted. They also play stiffly. But Zagers are professionally packaged the right way and you can tell it's a quality product. Then you get them on your guitar and the sound tells you the rest.Lyle

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/18/2016Consistently great for decent priceI have now compared these side by side with other brands and I can confidently say they are superior in tone and ease of play on all my acoustic brand guitars. These strings last a long time and have a clear bell ring to them. They are not muffled or cheap tinny sounding. They consistently have an edge soundwise and for the price I paid I can easily recommend them. Price and quality can't be beat. I'm surprised they aren't more expensive considering the packaging they come in. Excellent accessory!HenryinTX
