Packs a punch, gets the job done
This did exactly what I needed, even with some of the harder clay soils here in Colorado. It made tilling my overgrown garden beds almost effortless. Assembly was fairly easy, and the unit is quite portable. The main downside of being small and portable is that there isn't a lot of inherent weight pushing the tines down into the soil, and weight really helps with the tilling depth. That said, this gets the job done. Being plugged in is a little annoying, but I knew what I was getting into when I bought this, and there's no way that a battery-powered edition of this would have this level of power, at least not with any considerable run time. NOTE: This thing packs a punch as soon as you switch it on, so be sure to hold on tight.

Good tiller
This tiller is great except for the lightness of it. Bounces much on harder ground and hard objects such as rocks or roots. But the lightness of working it is why I wanted it, much easier to work than a gas one.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/21/2022The best thing ever for the house and gardenJust buy it. If you garden, you need and want this. To be honest with you, I have the smaller one that's 14 inches but I sure wish I would've gotten this one. I just tilled my whole garden today, about 6 hours worth and it did an unbelievable job. The first one I had something was messed up with the wiring, I called and the nicest guy you ever talked to told me he was so sorry and he sent me the one I have now. I love my little tiller and it's so light and handy around the house. I'm building a raised bed as well and the thing plowed through hard rocks and clay soil like feathers. Lol. Seriously!! Anyway, I hope this helps and if you do get the smaller one I know you'll love it to, I would get the 16 inch if I could do it all over, but I'm happy as can be with this one. Thank youJason

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/06/2021Good Dwal - All Around.Very strong - stronger than my old gas tiller. Used it in a grass area first. It tore up St. Augustine grass and improved my skill in using it, as St Augustine is tough. Big Garden - have a week to go.GILBERT

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/02/2020Great little electric tillerPurchased to till up small garden. Worked better than I expected for an electric tiller. It is one of highest amp tillers available. Unlike gas tillers, that have more power, this will bog down in wet dirt situation, which requires you to stop and clean all of the mud and dirt from underneath before resuming.James

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/22/2020Highly recommend - worth dragging a cordEasy assembly. I've used the tiller twice now and am VERY impressed. It dug deep in some relatively loose soil, and really tore in to some hardpacked dirt and through cherry tree roots in the 3/4-1" diameter range in a 8'x12' plot. Earlier this year I tried out a 16" wide, 35cc, 4-stroke competitor to do my 900 square foot main garden area ... at 1/4 the price this tiller was every bit the equal - with easier storage and lower maintenance.Sean
